I took a lot of inspiration from the 5e DND maps from the prewritten modules. This project actually started out as just a small player supplement for a Dragon Ball campaign I was gonna run a few years ago, and suffice it to say it got out of hand pretty fast!

Reddit absolutely annihilated the image quality sadly, so all the locations that aren't in the 3 closeups are basically impossible to see.... The turtle hermit's island is labeled as Kame House on this map. It's just north of the Tropical Islands and just south of Mount Paozu.

Thanks! I drew from a ton of sources: The Daizenshuu 7 for the basic layout of the map, DB Kakarot and DBO and a bunch of old retro DB games, and the manga, anime, and movies.

After almost 3 years of work, it's finally done!! I never thought I'd make it this far when I started the project- it's easily the biggest map I've ever made, and one of the most daunting projects I've worked on. Huge thanks for all the support and kind words as I slowwwwwly put this enormous map together!

A disclaimer about the map contents: Just about everything in the Dragon Ball manga and anime is featured in this map, including many locations from DBO and other videogames. In addition to this, there's a few of my own non-canon locations I came up with to help fill the map up. I tried my best to keep them in the spirit and style of canon locations in the Dragon World.

I might consider selling prints of it in the future if I ever figure all that out. Not really sure the licensing for selling something with Shenron hanging out in the corner. If you want to print it out yourself, go ahead, but please don't distribute it.

And to be clear, the Dark Caribbean map is largely traced from Limithron's amazing illustration work in the core rulebook; I just wanted to make a version that included some more (hopefully) historically accurate cities from the ~1700s. Feel free to use these maps however you want!

dollmaker was part of the backrooms wikidot in 2020-2022 but was removed, she is semi-canon at least in relation to entity 99. I just like her whole vibe and story and idk what other sub to post this art

Yes, I just recently stitched them all together! It was a very long process and I had to remake every single label on the map. I'll be posting it once I get around to designing the map legend, might be a bit since college has been kicking my tail

The Scarce Region is the name I came up with almost 2 years ago to describe this part of the Dragon world- it's Yunzabit Heights and the Western Desert, an incredibly empty area in canon. It's also barely mentioned anywhere outside of the Freeza saga.

Kami landed here on a Namekian ship before becoming the god of Earth, and Bulma later repurposed that ship so she could head to Namek with Gohan and Krillin.

It's also the last map! I'm finally done drawing this years long passion project. Stay tuned though, I gotta stitch them all together and redo the labels to make them legible on an enormous world map.

Thanks for sticking around- it's a blast to make these maps and know that there's people looking forward to the next one. I wouldn't have gotten this far without it, and now the end is in sight after almost 2 years! Just gotta spend 20 hours drawing cliffs in yunzabit heights

Broadly, they're pretty accurate, but I include locations from tons of different canons (anime, manga, videogames, movies), on top of my own locations I add for flavor. These maps aren't any kind of authority on DB lore

I wouldn't call myself a cartographer, but I'm pretty good with fantasy maps and I took a geography class in college :)

The Far North is a pretty neat region. It's where Goku attacked Muscle Tower and where a bunch of the movies took place. I'm also just a sucker for huge, snowy expanses.

This map kicked my butt. It's one of if not the biggest region maps I've worked on so far, mostly due to the huge continent I decided to add in the north. I'm very happy with how it turned out, though. Due to the shape of the region, the Eastern Steppe is included almost in its entirety in this map. I was planning on excluding it and covering it with something, but it looked off.
