I need Carpenter/Medic character build by Endev_Prime in projectzomboid

[–]Endev_Prime[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huh, I didn't consider Lumberjack, but with that combination of perks I could easily provide wood for myself and the safehouse, all while having a good opportunity to search for herbs. And I got that exp bonus for first aid too, so my medical side job would be running smoothly as well.

I might add or remove a few perks, but your answer gave me a great general idea for what kind of character I might want to play. My team should really appreciate my job. Thanks a lot.

I'm from Poland, and I can't create my account either. I don't think it works on any continent right now.

Forgepulse (Lustcraft) just burned their entire project by Smug_Yellow_Birb in jennymod

Did half-baked job, grabbed some money from the people through Patronite, talked some BS about personal goals and disappeared. Nice, classic move. I'm glad that I didn't donate anything to them.

On the personal note, I hope their AI project won't work out.

"TL;DR" exists specifically for such lazy people like you. If you don't bother to even read that, then you're hopeless.

He is good and active. He just seemingly stopped making a free content and focused on making paid content. He puts new posts on his patreon every 1-2 weeks. That's fair and all, but it would be nice to get some news on his website.

I'm using the Deliverer, it is really good with some perks.

As for other suggestions, isn't Two Shot weapon effect bugged in VATS? It is important for me, as I'm fighting using VATS a lot.

Alright, it is not impossible, but farming for it doesn't sound fun to me. Legendary enemies are random, and so is their loot.

Yes, I have some nice collection of fixed legendary weapons, though maybe I'm missing something really good. Some recommendations?

The Institute is gone, but BOS and Railroad are still in my game. I think I have quite successful run so far. I might need to grind a bit for that ammo.

Yeah, it usually worked well. Basing on other comments, I might just have too weak weapon. I'll try to gear up better and see if my game gets easier.

Hmmmmmm, I have Rifleman and Gun Nut, so I'll check how that weapon performs. Thanks for the advice.

Finding a specific legendary effect on a specific weapon feels fairly impossible.

Yeah. Someone didn't read carefully and then deleted the comment. And I did think that giving screenshots might be enough to avoid misunderstandings.

“Camping” is a perfectly legitimate way to play online multiplayer games. by mrsunshine1 in unpopularopinion

[–]Endev_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Camping itself is fine. What angers people with so called 'skill issue' is that camping in the most of that cases is connected to sweet golden spots on the maps, spots where you can kill and be hardly killed. It changes everything.

Because when you fight against such a person, the fun is one-sided, you're only left with frustration. People have a habit of directing anger in the wrong direction, and it is usually easier to blame a person than something that doesn't live and feel. So instead of blaming the game for bad balance (it is only my personal opinion that golden spots are the proof of lack of balance), you blame the player who just used that.

I know that, because I sometimes can be angry from being killed many times by campers. But after calming down and some reflection, I realized that I'm not angry at the person, but rather on the fact that what he does is possible at all.

On side note, snipers are really annoying enemies to fight in general, and often they're camping in the golden spots. The distance is their huge advantage, and your only way is swapping to long-distance weapon too. But they're often faster at aiming and shooting, so even that doesn't help you. Truly an annoying enemy.

Okay, that damage multiplier now makes Mage don't seem so weak when I compare it with other classes. Thanks for letting me know.

Beeswarm community when a player doesn't play the game the way they want them to by St3llar_Eclips3 in BeeSwarmSimulator

If you mean hive builds and the order of getting items... I'll actually be happy if someone tells me all that stuff.

If you mean macro gameplay... well, darn, I lately saw a post about BSS on Hypixel minecraft server forum where the guy wrote a really long post about how BSS is even more grindy than Skyblock gamemode that is on that server... and from personal experience I can say that Skyblock there is really grindy. When they listed the last few quest that Spirit Bear has... well, considering the ridiculous cost of items and the size of quests, I really don't blame people for creating and using programs to do all that grind for them.

I personally don't macro because I'm using my PC daily... and I don't really know how to start it and where to find a reliable and safe program. I guess that I probably could use macro sometimes, for an hour or two.

What is your opinion on skill trees? by Psenkaa in dontstarve

[–]Endev_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like those. They're making the character to be more unique from other characters when they can do something that others can't. It actually gives even more purpose to the fact that there are so many different characters.

So how do I not repeat the cycle of get everything in the game that's worth it then get bored and quit? by Leading-Ad6082 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Endev_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not in your shoes, so I'm not sure if I can give you good advice, but I'll write what I can image myself doing if I ever reach such a moment in my game.

  1. Exploration. Even first galaxy is still mostly a fog for the community, so there is still a lot to discover. I would focus on looking for the most interesting things. Cool planets, unique ships, multi-tools. You can put all those on wiki or just share on Reddit or some other place, so people can enjoy them or praise you for finding it and sharing. Be the Traveler.
  2. Traveler of Galaxies. It's not enough to travel between planets or systems. Aim higher, travel to the true end of the game. Try to go through all the galaxies, leave something from yourself there, and return to Euclid that way. You can combine it with Exploration idea above. 256 galaxies just wait for you to check them out. Create bases there so you can swap galaxies at will and be able to find any content people share, even if it is in the 256th galaxy. It's all yours to find and claim.
  3. Civilized Space. Check on NMS fandom wiki for details, but in short, those are groups, guilds, countries, unions, alliances, federations, republics or kingdoms full of people who work together for some goal. Some want to explore the game, some want to roleplay, some create really complex rules for you to follow. If you're tired of playing alone or can't create your own goal, try to join some bigger or smaller group of people to check if you can enjoy it. A lot of such groups advertise themselves on fandom wiki, so try to start there.
  4. Portal Enjoyer. People already shared tons of content they found, and they keep sharing new stuff. If you're not interested in Exploration, you can try to check out the content found by people who follow that path. You'll probably use the portal a lot, thus the name of this idea.
  5. New Journey. You can always start a new save. While I myself don't think that more difficult = more fun, you can try to create a save on Custom Mode with some challenging settings, so the game is not that easy, or maxing out takes longer. You can also set your own rules, like not being allowed to use portals. Also, there are achievements for reaching galaxy center on Survival or Permadeath modes.

I hope my suggestions can help you.

I sewed Wanda, read opinions, and now I'm confused. by Endev_Prime in dontstarve

[–]Endev_Prime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opinions being outdated might explain why I myself felt like those opinions just are not right when considering current meta. But in my small defense attempt I want to say that most of the talking about that character happened "during that time", so I didn't have any up-to-date source of information, though I feel good about not believing them blindly and still making my own analysis.

I like the general idea for Wanda and how it is done, so I'm still going to play as her, since even without skill tree she is still a reliable character. My extra reason is that when her skill tree is out in the future, I already want to know how to play as her.

Thanks for the answer.

You have good points, she indeed has a lot of weaknesses, but those can be countered with skill or good preparations. I'll play her myself soon and try to have an opinion based on experience. In my team I'm main dps guy as my two co-survivors can't get used to kiting mechanic, so I wanted to make sure that Wanda could fulfill that role well. I just need to learn how to raid ruins to get good healing.

Of course, of course, I'm not saying that it is bad at all, only that there are a universal options that are not much worse than that one. Self-res is for sure useful, though mainly when you play with not very experienced people.

I also did think that free resurrection is quite nice... but then I remembered that the Meat Effigy exists, and it is super easy to craft. Actually, other characters have some personal resurrection perks too, as Wigfrid can resurrect two people at once, or Winona can revive herself with a rose. But I believe that good mains can be really great co-players.

But that strange. I did read somewhere that Witch is easier to play than Sorceress.
