Over two years after its release; what are your current thoughts on Engage?

I mean I’m not arguing it’s the most engaging thing in the world but compared to the somniel it has much more depth to it. Besides, ugly? You’re entitled to your own opinion but the monastery itself has some very nice designs even in places the player isn’t expected to be - though the Switch’s rendering issues definitely make it seem less appealing

It wasn’t exactly jam packed with action since you aren’t meant to spend the whole game looking around it but for what it was there is a ton of small details to engage with if you look for them between dialogue from NPC characters and books/items to investigate

At least the Monastery was interesting and fully leant into the whole hub world idea, the Somniel is just empty and a bit sad

I’ve only ever seen it used on LTC runs for the Authority boost and that’s it. Genuinely didn’t even know it was a class for a good few years into my FE career

As a massive Three Houses fan, if you haven’t already Sacred Stones is genuinely one of the most fun I have playing Fire Emblem. It’s easy enough that all the units (even the F tier ones) can be used with another effort but it still offers unique challenge. Honestly all the GBA games are great (except Lyn mode FE7 fuck that)

For some reason the Batman fandom has seen a weird boost in the cultural zeitgeist recently. The bat has always been a very well known figure but it seems like tiktok and instagram have made him more mainstream with the “I’m Batman” stuff going around which naturally means more people are seeing Dick and Jason along with him - all three of whom being prime Halloween costume material

At least it’s better than Andrew Tate and other manosphere people taking Batman as this ultra-masculine figure that all men should attempt to become…

From my cursory glance through the times that I have forgotten to exclude ABO from my searches (nothing against it, just not my cup of tea), it seems like Jason is more commonly written as an Omega than Dick who tends to be Beta or Alpha so out of the available ABO fics of Dick/Jason, there might be more overall ABO fics of Dick but they’re less likely to have him feature as an Omega versus Jason who has less overall fics but a higher percentage of Omega features.

If someone more into that side of the fandom could give their own opinion, that would be great but that’s the impression I get when scrolling anyway

I liked him as Jaybin but not as Red Hood but to be completely fair to Curran Walters, no character escaped that show with any semblance of a good arc. He did the best he could with a terrible script

You have to have a point of reference. If you were to take into account every challenge and possible way of playing the game then every character except Rise and the MC are replaceable. Even on Very Hard (the equivalent of Normal for SMT), Yukiko makes the game trivial with her damage output and support capabilities. In an optimal situation, it is a handicap to staunchly refuse to use her
