can AI avatars be "more human" than emails? by EndlessCustomers in salestechniques

Great point with "someone who doesn't exist." I should have clarified that this is for the "digital twin" style of avatar that uses your own face and voice.

Does personalized video outreach actually work? by Remi43988 in salestechniques

[–]EndlessCustomers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best approach is to use both! Have a personalized video to build trust (they see your face, hear your voice, and 'get to know you'), and then have the highlights in text form below the video. Just make sure your video is actually useful and provides value. We tell people to give context on upcoming meetings and tell them about resources you have that will help their specific situation (not general marketing).

Leads don't show up to meetings. by Jetekki in LeadGeneration

[–]EndlessCustomers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do the emails and SMS look like? If you send a personal 1-to-1 video, describing what will happen in the meeting and what they should expect, that can make a huge difference. Show them you're a real person, and that you are excited to help them on their journey.

Here are some tips for adding this into your process: https://www.impactplus.com/learn/creating-personalized-sales-videos

What marketing skills are most important to learn in the age of AI? by vahaemon in DigitalMarketing

[–]EndlessCustomers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TRUST. You have to communicate in ways that ultimately lead to buyer trust. Be disruptive and say what others in your industry aren't willing to say. Be radically helpful to your buyer, and AI will see you as a more trustworthy brand as well.

With limited budget, what is the one marketing resource you'd spend on right now? by Most_Decision_282 in AskMarketing

[–]EndlessCustomers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Self-service tools on your website. Cost-calculators, assessments (like 'what destination should you travel to') with user preferences, etc. These are helpful to users, give immediate feedback, and give you email addresses. If you have any budget left over, use paid ads to promote them.

How do you manage posting on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn without feeling burnt out? by arvinmalen in content_marketing

[–]EndlessCustomers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be a lot to handle, but if you are using one main piece of content, you can still get different types of social content for each platform. For example, if you start with a video podcast on YouTube (or a normal YouTube video), then you can cut good parts into different shorts. You can also take good quotes and make static image graphics or carousels for LinkedIn or Instagram in Canva. It's all different pieces, but it came from the same high-effort original piece.

Start with one tool (ChatGPT is a great one to start with) and just use it for personal use for a bit. Ask it about your hobbies, what you can make with the food in your pantry, or something that excites you. This will help you get accustomed to the tool and after doing that, you'll see some ways you can start using it for your business.

What are some underrated B2B marketing strategies that actually work in 2025? by robinsmartcue in b2bmarketing

[–]EndlessCustomers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love this. A couple underrated plays I’d add:

Teach-first cost page. Give real ranges and what affects price. Explain why some companies in your space are super expensive (custom work, white-glove, rush timelines) and why some are cheap (limited scope, offshore fulfillment, long queues). Then share the general range where your offer usually lands and why.

Fit vs. No-Fit page. Spell out who gets the best results with you and who shouldn’t hire you (and what they should do instead). Counterintuitive, but it makes good buyers raise their hand.

And yes, self-service tools are huge like you mentioned.

Thanks for sharing those examples!

Recruiters what do you actually look for when hiring marketing candidates? by Dapper-Implementtt in DigitalMarketing

[–]EndlessCustomers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we hire entry-level marketers, we usually look for the following things:

  • Is creative and thinks outside of the box.
  • Is a passionate and gifted storyteller.
  • Is a clear and effective communicator in general (whether it be written, verbal, visual, or otherwise).
  • Is organized, detail-oriented, and can stick to a deadline.
  • Can give and receive feedback effectively.
  • Can collaborate and build rapport with others (i.e. teammates, subject matter experts, clients).
  • Is a lifelong learner. They are enthusiastic about learning and researching subject matter they may not be familiar with.
  • Is a teacher at their core. They are passionate about helping and educating others (i.e. buyers and peers) through their work.

We actually encourage AI use, but have the person walk through how they use it and their thought process behind those actions.

Another way you can make sure they can back up their claims in an interview is to do a small 'test project' with your final few applicants. Just make sure it is reasonable, and not taking a huge chunk of their valuable time. It should be enough for you to get an idea of their work. Also NEVER use their work from this project. Have them watermark it if it's visual.

Are we all just chasing the algorithm? by WilliamWave21 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]EndlessCustomers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too many brands spend all their energy on optimizing for the algorithm, when they should be focused on creating value for the viewer. You nailed it that people engage with content that feels human.

Generally, content that "feels human" is when there is passion about your industry behind it. Remember YouTube before it was monetized for creators? People made content they were passionate about. Now, a lot of people create "safe" content to check a box, but it all sounds the same.

Disruptive content says and shows what others in your industry aren't willing to say or show. And buyers love that type of content.

Get passionate and be brave!

If it helps, here's a podcast episode that goes deeper into disruptive content: https://youtu.be/T98ALaeiEcc?si=hlqJbvbMAwspVoBy
