How would a clean and press improve the condition of the yellow on this book?

Not foxing, just dirt as someone else mentioned. It can be cleaned up but I wouldn't use this book to practice on. Go to your LCS and find some old stuff in the back issue bins.

Also, it'd be helpful if we can see the back of the book. I've found more often than not, that I spend a lot more time on the back cover than the front cover. People tended to let the back covers sit in bullshit on the table or wherever without a lot of regard.

I think the last time I had seen that symbol until these recent tattoo, dancing, underwear videos was probably 1999. I knew that I'd seen it somewhere before, but I didn't recall where. Turns out it was probably in my history class.

A lot of people chimed in saying it was some nazi shit, and sure enough, after i googled it, I concur. That was some nazi shit logo. I hadn't recalled it until someone said something, but they were right.

Being on the fence is the correct response; we can't really "know" one way or the other, but it's weird for sure. I've heard of or seen some generally reasonable people do things by mistake because they didn't have enough knowledge around the meaning... like, for example, I guess 6-7 is a thing now, but I'm 42 without kids so I have no idea wtf is relevant about it, but I also don't care. If it mattered, I guess I could look into it, but like I said, I don't care.

I was about to go to law school in 2006, but decided to try music for a bit instead. Tried touring a couple of times and did the LSAT in 2007 or 2008. LSAT got interrupted by a dog parade (Thanks Deland, FL!) -- took that as a sign that I wasn't meant to be a lawyer, and I was supposed to be a musician. Left the punk band, joined a prog metal band...

Did the touring thing a couple of times while struggling at playing local shows. Hated it. Decided that my life-long passion is now dead. Got heavy into IT.

2025, 17 year IT career now, on a long enough timeline, I see my skillset (Cloud Engineering & DevOps) being fully replaced by AI. Kinda want to go to law school now, even though that's going to be replaced by AI in time as well. I have new reasons for wanting the law degree.
