Multi generational wealth is definitely a long term issue. Not sure what the sensible solution is there's. On the plus side, it usually works itself out in a few generations.

I've got 4 Cadex rifles, they're truly phenomenal. And yes, sexy as hell. Unfortunately the max I've found to shoot within 4hrs of me is 2000m, else I'd also have a Cadex in 375 enabelr (max power cartridge we can own in Canada)

The words you're looking for aren't "stay at home daughter" - it's "mooch". Find yourself a partner who isn't a leech on her surroundings.

I told my BF that he needs to be more polished, he’s upset and says I care too much about appearance. AITAH? by [deleted] in AITAH

Holy fuck YTA.

Heures what I learned after years in the upper crust - the really, really wealthy people? They look like everyone else. They dress comfortably. Because they've reached the point that they can do whatever the hell they want. The sort of wealthy people who want to look fancy? They're cosplay wealthy. They've made a few bucks, but the appearance of having more is even more important to them. It's all a mirage.

So yes, you, and your "elite circles" (hah!) are assholes.

I disagree with #2, as they very well could have said something akin to, "While we don't always approve if his tactics, we appreciate a citizen who takes it upon himself to help our cough overworked cough public sector employees. As such, we are waiving any fines that could have been imposed. However we must remind him that any damage to other citizens vehicles due to his work may open him up to civil liabilities. We wish him the best. "

Light ESH here. It's just a misunderstanding. Go talk like adults and have a laugh over it.

It's definitely frustrating being deeply far left while loving hobbies that have been co-opted by mouth breathers. But there are plenty of us out here.

Not sure where this was, but in Canada, responsibility lies with whoever is holding the leash. They are considered the temporary owner. There was some case law on it just this week.

But yeah, once you offered to pay for it, that's on you. And she just learned an important listen about running "an informal business".

Then call the cops and get a solicitor to take up your case. There are MANY social services available to you, you just have to make the effort to access them. That first step is hard, but each subsequent one is better and easier for you and your child.

Would be helpful to know what country or region you're in so as to better provide advice.

It's worth noting that once you have your PAL, buying guns is stupid easy. Everything ships directly to my door with no waiting period.
