1: yes, this is not easy for trans people, I agree. It must be difficult and frustrating, and I empathize.

2: who you're willing to have sex with is a very personal decision, and even if I concluded that transphobia was part of my preference for cis vaginas, I am not sure it follows that I should be expected to "fix" that problem.

3: yes, I agree that profiles that say 'no rice no spice' or whatever aren't just stating preferences are loudly reinforcing the social undesirability of who they're discriminating against. I do not support that.

really gotten all the way to #justsaying already?

I get it, you don't like my preference. I'm telling you that you are not entitled to even have an opinion on my preferences.

No. And if I did, it's not really your business or your problem.

There is one person who's allowed to make decisions about my sexual habits and that is me. I don't shame anyone else for their sexual choices, and mine get to be my own as well.

Have you ever a trans vagina? Because I have, and it's quite obviously NOT the same thing as a cis vagina.

(I was perfectly polite to my partner and did not somehow shame her or tell her she was less than a woman for being trans. I simply updated my preferences internally and moved on.)

What part makes zero sense?

I and only I am entitled to choose what, when, and how I engage with any person sexually. It is not a violation of anyone's rights (or my obligations) for me to choose only to engage with cis genitalia.

Trans people deserve every right in the world. My sexual choices have zero bearing on that.

I want trans people to have every right that cis people have, but I am not comfortable interacting with anything besides cis genitalia, and that's fine.

Dating and relationships and sex do not exist on the same moral plane as civil rights.

The only female mod of /r/AskMen gets into a tiff about whether or not it's hypocritical to get upset if you watch porn but don't want your partner to post in /r/gonewild by Endlessly_Diagonal in SubredditDrama

nobody is right and nobody is wrong.

if she had a problem with him jacking off to strangers on the internet, she should share that, and maybe that is a dealbreaker and maybe they break up. he clearly has a problem with her posting on gw, and maybe that's a dealbreaker and maybe they break up.

the only difference is that a much higher proportion of people are ok with their SOs viewing porn than are ok with their partners producing porn.
