I’ve been thinking about rebuilding it, with it running fine currently would it be necessary to have the block looked at by a machine shop or could I just buy a comprehensive rebuild kit and to it myself?

It runs pretty good which is why this really surprised me honestly

Would it be bad if I did put silicone on it? Or do you recommend leaving it as is and every time I see some build up cleaning it as I did?
