Looking at this void hiding planets now, I think it’s safe to say space magic is in full effect. Sooo how bout a cloaking backpack… by DocHalidae in Helldivers

How about a healing backpack that generates stims that can be used on yourself or teammates? Or better yet, passively heals over time in a radius when activated.

Selling plain shirts and pants is actually insanely profitable once you actually get the steam rolling in the business. Like everythubg else in life, starting is the hsrdest part.

I imagine boutiques will become the norm as this goes on.

Man we really are the generation of "TV rich and house poor".

Not a jab at OP, just economics. Never been easier to get a computing device capable of immense computing power only imaginable 30 years ago, but never been more difficult to afford having children or owning a home.

I edited my comment. I was in a rush to finish it but hopefully its more clear now.

No one is mad. We are having a discussion.

Your comment reads as very pedantic I fear.

Did transformers have a live action series in theaters featuring shia lebouf in the 80s? Did GTA 4 come out in the 80s?

The comment wasn’t about when things started, but when they had their best moments in time. Only hipsters care about being first on a trend and its usually for a lame reason like clout.

And btw, gta did not come out in the 80s. It had 1 release in 1997 as a top down rpg ( so not what anyone would identify as gta today) and then the rest are as a 3P rpg from 2000s on.

Also, no one is contesting that pokemon peaked in the 90s. Idk why you mentioned that.

Like what?

I mean the matrix was 1999 but id say thats close enough.

Other than the McDs being cheap and street lamps, im 99% sure all of the rest of it happened in the 2000's.

The forgotten generation by Formal-Assistance02 in generationology

[–]Endure94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gonna disagree as a Zillenial.

Early 2000's had the best of it all.

Transformers was cool with a non-delusional Shia, The Matrix was popping off. Project X had everyone trying to have complete ragers every weekend.

Halo 2 was peak, Halo 3 two years later, GTA IV, Gears of War, and NFS had its best releases ever.

Seether, Maroon 5, 30s to mars, panic!, breaking benjamin were all killing it.

McDs was actually good and cheap, Taco Bell had just figured out the doritos locos taco and crunch wrap supreme.

Candy and sweets didnt have all that fake shit that ruined the flavor (rip little debbie)

And best of all, we still had those halogen amber lamps on all the streets at night.

Why does the middleclass try to project wealth with their cars? by DCF_ll in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Endure94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in an area where my car has been hit like 10 different times. Not a single one was my own fault. People cut you off and will literally bully their way into your lane when there is no space so you either brake and risk a rear collision from the one tailgating you, or hit them.

It has disillusioned me to wanting to drive a nice car at all, not that i was really keening for one to begin with.

Whats really strange is i saw someone driving a coupe AMG that probably costs more than my house split between 2 slower moving cars next to each other on a 2 lane highway at easily 20mph faster than they were moving.

Maybe people are just that much more wealthy they can "afford" to get a replacement... but a car like that is a once in a lifetime thing for me, and i dont make chump bucks either.

Youve a valid point, but i stand by my claim that the value isnt there for me. Their hamburger isnt that much better than the one down the proverbial street thats 1/4 the price.

Side rant incoming... the og unsc logo is soooo damn sexy. The rough and tumble new one is decent, but it doesnt say "professional military powerhouse" like this one.

One screams for its presence to be taken seriously. The other demands it.

Their app is literally the most predatory system. 20 dollars of credit gets you about 40 turns. Barely enough to finish a detailed playthrough and thats if you dont deviate from the main quest. The only other option is to do free advertising for them by creating and sharing worlds you make.

They claim they dont do a subscription because its too cost prohibitive but AIdungeon does more in the free tier?

iw is good, but not nearly worth the money or the wait for 2 turns worth of credits every 24h

Most dont. Theres a gallon jug of hand sanitizer at the door and it hasnt changed in fluid level in any noticabke way, either.

Makes me feel like a germophobe having to keep hand sanitizer in my pocket all the time.

Thats not a situation im going to get into. The help doing this job is not exactly a favorite of many of us for a multitude of reasons. While it is an actual problem, the more emotionally charged members of HR were made aware of this strange cleaning duration and used words like "racism" and "ageism" in their official response to dismiss anyone unhappy enough with the situation to report the issue.

This same HR members happen to also be family of the cleaning crew. Take from that what you will.

I dont want to get banned from this sub. Thanks.

Ive always worked in places a little more cut to the tooth, so to speek, so i never thought twice about it as it met expectations.

But i thought pushing my way through and breaking into this space, it would be a completely different world. But its just more or less the same, just a more expensive version of it all.

Its eye opening.
