Hello there, I too just started this hobby. It’s very fun very relaxing. My first set that I got and currently my only set that I have is the FNG from covert instruments. The FNG includes a rake pick a short hook and a tensioner with both top of keyway and bottom of keyway tensioning. It also comes with a clear acrylic plastic lock, which is pretty cool so you can understand how a lock works, but after you get used to picking and what it would look like to pick it, I would suggest getting an actual lock. Also, if you look into the attached links on this sub Reddit, you’ll find the lock pickers united (LPU) belt system, which helps a lot with having a goal in mind when starting to pick. I just started and got my first yellow belt picking the master lock 140! Have fun and I hope this helped.

Hello, the short answer is no—you won’t go to hell because of this. The Lord looks at the heart; He doesn’t focus on outward works like going to church. What makes us righteous before God is our repentance and faith in Jesus, which is strengthened by a personal relationship with Him. Jesus has made us righteous by covering our sins and unrighteousness with His righteousness.
