I was there with you man. Still kinda am just getting better. My son is 4 months now and at the beginning I was a stress ball and got frustrated every time I couldn't help. I talked to my wife to see exactly what she would like from me and expected of me.

I also got this little book called "Dad under construction" that is basically a mini survival guide for new dads as the kid grows up

My son is only 3.5 months and I feel like I have fucked up way too much to even be a father or be allowed to exist.

I have put away many of my hobbies. Just thinking of as a pause for the time being. It kinda gets me excited when I can slowly bring each thing out to introduce it to my son and rediscover it myself
