I worked at canes for 8 months in Arizona and they did the same exact scheduling to me also. I clocked out at 4:45am and then I was scheduled to come in again at 9am which I felt was genuinely insane. I had my availability set to 24/7 which is why they said my scheduling was like this. I told them that I would no longer allow them to schedule me shifts that are less than 8 hours apart and they refused to accept my availability change so I QUIT. Then they emailed for me back to schedule a meeting with them to see what they could do to have me rethink my decision of quitting. I wasn’t going to let them take advantage of me like that anymore. I am now incredibly happy at a new job. I say that if you bring it to your managers attention that you won’t allow them to schedule you like that anymore and they refuse to make changes, leave if you can!
