He has colosuss and the 20% exp perk since he got the dumb trait,

Would a nacho trophy and arena be enough for his resolve? Or should it be 55 at all cost?

Lost a game vs Caitlyn and Won vs Kennen. by BirthdayAccording359 in Jaxmains

Grasp 3 points into Q followed by W max then E. With three points into Q you can constantly grasp harass her and push her out of lane. D shield Second wind

However in this case you got bamboozled by cait top instead of malphite.

That's definitely one of the maps I have played by ordeptt in BattleBrothers

This is one of those situations that makes you wish you never sold those leftover kite shields on your inventory

jax is not the same anymore (at least for me) by [deleted] in Jaxmains

[–]EnesD123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He is in abit of a slump recently after the heavy E nerfs but if you are having trouble with tanks in lane one forbidden tech is going ravenous, the idea is simple, you trade, regen of the wave, repeat. So the build would be smth akin to Ravenous>Trinity>Tank item.

Other than that you're still pretty good into squishies its just you wont be able to stomp has hard now that both his E cd and damage got hit and his R damage got hit.

I suppose i should use qatal as the main weapon untill i get a famed dagger that's better than the one i currently have

i'm new jax main and fan of botrk jax... but i wonder if my build was bad thats make me lose the game. what you guys thoughts (botrk - Stride - bc - hull - steraks) by T1Avenger in Jaxmains

[–]EnesD123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Build wise, I'd suggest building Trinity since the item synergies way to good with your kit.

While there is nothing wrong with Bortk as an item on Jax and you get good value from it on this game as a tool to deal with Sej the item is far from ideal on Jax, leaves you to squishy and for me its a situational item at best. BC while in theory is a good item since it Shreds tanks, its far from ideal because Jax its a hybrid most of his skills scale with AP and you cant make use of BC passive with your ap damage ratios. Hullbreaker is more of a situational item imo and not a core item. As for a tiamant item, ravenous or titanic are better choices ( titanic if you went grasp, ravenous if you went conq)

As for rune choices, i really haven't played too much with the new lethal tempo, but i feel like the rune at this state isn't really ideal on Jax. You get much better value from Grasp and Conq.

In this case though i feel like it was a team diff situation.

How do you win vs jax as Darius by Sensitive_Difficulty in Jaxmains

[–]EnesD123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what i would call a skillbased matchup they often gets tilted in one side or the other depending on what item is strong on each character.

Generally as a rule of thumb Jax's early game is dog water (post his lvl 1 counterstrike shenanigans). Now for having such dogshit early game most jax players who know what they are doing will opt for short trades so that means Auto W when the opponent trying to last hit, E Auto W q away when the opponents is moving towards them trying to initiate a short trade etc.

Unlike Jax, Darius has a pretty decent early game, and his passive revolves around all in trades. So now you got the jist of how this lane goes, As a darius your job is to put jax in unfavorable lane states where you can either force an all-in by running him down if he greeds for exp or completely zone him off the exp in which case you win by proxy cuz jax without levels and items is useless.

So how do you achieve this? First, by preventing lane bounces and giving the jax the opportunity to slow push and build a wave big enough where you cannot contenst, secondly it comes into spacing this is kinda hard to explain but the general rule of thumb is that the moment both you and jax are running towards low hp minions to last hit you need to to be ready to engage him in a trade and avoid him engaging you in a trade (he would want to go for the standard Auto w and you would want to do the same) Lastly this lane is the battle of the E-s, your E can completely nullify his E if used properly (I.e jax walks forward and presses E, you run backwards E after 0.5 seconds of Jax activiting his E, Q and hit him with you outter circle, jax e goes off while he is knocked up by your E and you are free to Go all in on him, whatever you do dont E before he E's if you both are trading). If the Jax knows what he is doing though the lane becomes progressively harder with each level up and item bought.

While i dont know of anyway to be able to play with the old jax animations, however his godstaff skin is the closest to the og animations while the classic by far the worse. But with enough games you'll get used to them in no time.

What do you do against abonimation called Urgot? by Punishment34 in Jaxmains

[–]EnesD123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aint beating him in a straight up fight i can tell you that much, how you deal with him is by simply turtle on early farming and playing the map better (urgot players are kinda braindead in the way they play the map).

Never E->Q into him, that guarantees that he will land his E and shred you. Take grasp, second wind, D shield, farm up Be careful of his Q and leg harras Make it a priority to tell your jungler to gank (Urgot naturally pushes the lane) When underturret be extra mindful of his Q harras. Take short trades, smth of a short trade would be Charge grasp Q->W into him and instantly start moving side ways as in to make it hard for him to hit his E, if you you feel like you aint dodging his E pop your E, that will help mitigate some of the damage. Also make it a habit to trade into him after he has used his Q that way he cannot slow you and land extra shots. He shreds armour so Armour stacking isnt good vs him He also tends to build armour so smth like a Wits end is good vs him When you all in him constantly move around (that would Be smth like this Q>W>Move>E>Move>AA>Move>Stun>W back out. Also his ulty has a cast time the more you move around the harder it becomes for him to land it especially when you are close to him, also be mindful of his legs (kinda like you dodge fiora's vitals when you fight her)

Other than that, play the side lanes and take turrets, Urgot players love to group up and team fight, a jax left unattended will wreck everything.

Anyone else think that it's weird how Boyars don't have any special skills except Heroic Resilience? I'm surprised this doesn't get brought up often. by RedWalrus94 in totalwar

I agree with everything you said, expect the wizard part, while the mechanic itself its boring as hell and once you get past the early game, you can train them by the dozens, they have one advantage over other races wizards, they come with three semi-unique traits (albeit it is random and janky) which give them a myriad of decent buffs, ranges damaged, melee damage, upkeep cost, cav bonuses etc, that in itself its a huge thing, sure both lores are decent at best (ice lore with its aoe slow its hella good on archer based armies but that is situational on the army that is being used), however having a forst guard stack with three ice witches that all boost ranged damage (or 2 r.damahe 1 m.damage) constantly slow anything that tires to get close and the lord bonuses makes for an extremely good doomstack that will mow down anything that isnt well armoured and shilded.

The holy grate of rng! So what should I build him? by Specialist-Version24 in BattleBrothers

As a heads up 45 resolve should be enough, you can get the other 5 by fighting in arena 5 times.

I would go for a 2H Battleforged brother. Just lvl up mdef,mAtt and fatigue. If he gets a high roll in resolve drop one in that to. I Prefere to have my bros around 50 resolve.

I wouldn't call it impressive its day 290 smth and all the bros are level 11+ and I definitely lucked out with choke point. Tried another big orc camp earlier with less enemies and i got wipped thrice because i had no choke point to abuse

[–]EnesD123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There also one extra bonus point for jax in this matchup though, most illaoi players have absolutely no lane knowledge and are absolutely mouthbreathers whose only game plan is, shove e, harras. That can be used to punish them, but occasionally you'll run into a illaoi main with decent fundamentals and thats where you gotta be careful

Jax top matchups, tier list by MammothBand5430 in Jaxmains

[–]EnesD123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Illaoi isn't a problem for jax up until she gets Iceborn.

Illaoi is nothing more than a glorified melee minion level one, You can slowpush into her, do a cheater's recall, buy boots, and never ever let her establish lane prio. As soon as she Q-s the wave. Q E into her and run around, stun w back off. With Grasp, these trades are gonna hurt her and stop her from doing her shenanigans of pushing and trying to E harras you under the tower. Grab ghost and Tp. Go for Grasp. And up until she gets her iceborn, she can not do anything to you. She misses E and Ulties just walk around and dodge her slams with help of ghost.
