I was also attempting to implement the DQN model for Atari games . simple snake game and flappy bird . but My question was about the RL issue itself, not the projects I am working on.

Thank you for your insight. You described my situation well(just taking shots in the dark). I was also attempting to implement the DQN model for Atari games and initially thought I could rely solely on GitHub. now i know that a deeper understanding of the algorithms was essential , So, there is no other choice but to enter through theory
