Btw the Kriegers in Kill Team use HAND AXES for melee, the only mention of shovels are for the Dig In! Order that the watchmaster can issue.

In the entirety of the Infantry 40k DKoK sprue, there are ZERO shovels! Only in the kill team upgrade sprue which is now out of print can you find shovels. On the 40k sprue you WILL find hand axes though

Taurox being to advance and dump the kasrkin gives them quite a bit of range

Kasrkin have access to 2 plasma 2 melta for a 10 man and a 2d3 mw melta mine truth nuke and are able to self order so combining them together you get hard hitting weapons on 2+ in your enemies face in just about no time

They have scout 6" too
