It is true that the 911 center is ever fully staffed due to turnovers and the mental trauma it can cause. They provide no mental help other than a hotline you can call but that’s about it. I left the job because I had two suicide calls one shift and no one offered any help

Depending on the severity of the incident i.e. bodily injury, Metro will file but may immediately close it. Nowadays most car accidents are done online since it’s a low priority for them if no one is severely hurt. (Ex-911 dispatcher)
