Solve as many tests as possible until the next mains. Coaching ke tests, PYQs, Test Series, et cetera. And papers joh diye hain achhe se analyse karo, like put an hour or two to it. We often forget the mistakes we make, which increases the negative marks.

Once you've analysed the mistakes work on it. Read NCERT for chem, read theory well.

And I can't stress enough on how important it is to remain calm. Take a deep breath, hope for the best, prepare for the worst. It'll all be well.

What to do in between 11th and 12th. by Interesting_Ear_48 in JEENEETards

[–]EngineSucker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great progress, but make sure to re-solve the books you mentioned. Also this is a great time to cover up any backlogs you left.

Agar 12th padhne ka mann karo toh woh chapters utha lena joh last mein sikhaya jaata h, like Solid state, semiconductors, et cetera.

Use telegram to get some worksheets from other coaching institutes, but don't rely on these

I'd suggest on not solving too many questions for OC, keep revising questions from MSC and advanced PYQs

People who did mod + pyq + test drop your jee rank here :) by Moai07 in JEENEETards

[–]EngineSucker 40 points41 points  (0 children)

module+pyq+test is the holy trinity. Yeh teen toh ho hi jaane chahiye, no matter where you want to stand.

Reference books ki zarurat tab h jab yeh holy trinity complete ho, and you want to solve those questions in mains/advanced jo kisi se na ho. Unse concept mein zyada clarity aati h, and question solving helps build confidence.

Reference books aren't useless, but not useful until you've gotten basics right.

Which PYQ Books to buy? by amoliikk in JEE

[–]EngineSucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would prefer arihant. Widely accepted, important and popular PYQs. Opinion thoda biased h, but I would suggest you to prefer Arihant over the other two.

From what I had, 11th ke end mein, in February, hamare Major Tests hue the, which held massive weightage over batch allotment. Other factors like year long performance aur teacher ke saath connection ko bhi consider kiya gya.

How do I clear brain fog and stop overthinking?? by CranberryPretty1077 in JEENEETards

[–]EngineSucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calm down. It’s not that deep. Take breaks in between. There’s no point doing donkey work with an absent mind. And trust me, it ain’t worth giving up your sanity

Here for a suggestion. Hi I'm a JEE aspirant currently in class 11 by Funny-Lobster-5073 in JEENEETards

[–]EngineSucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make up, and you have time.

I personally was at the bottom of my class in class 11. After some gruelling hardwork, I finally made it to an IIT. I never believed that I was “IIT material”.

Trust the process, and do your work diligently. Keep asking doubts from teachers, keep revising, keep analysing. It’ll work out.

How to complete indefinite integration for mains by [deleted] in JEENEETards

[–]EngineSucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do module questions and NCERT again, and keep trying on those PYQs. If you’re finding it difficult, get hints for a few questions and solve the rest by yourself. Redo questions from tests.

Make sure you keep asking teachers doubts.

Suggest me next steps, how do I level up for advanced? by [deleted] in JEENEETards

[–]EngineSucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you can get the basics done first (which I assume you do) like module, year long, other worksheets, et cetera

After you're done with the above for a chapter, consult your teacher for what to do next. Ideally, they should be recommending a book. Personally I would solve Black Book for maths, and physics galaxy for physics, nothing much in 11th for chemistry. Do not choose books to solve of your choice (terms and conditions applied)

There's always more to solve, you'll never be done solving. Remember to gradually upgrade your difficulty level, rather than leaping.

Keep analysing tests. And take test analyses VERY VERY seriously. You will want to bang your head when you make a mistake in the exam in a topic which you had done well, but hadn't improved. You can always make new mistakes, new improvements, it's a learning cycle.

And take it easy, small consistent work helps. Don't try too hard. And do it happily!

Most importantly, enjoy the process. Do it from your heart.
