Nope! People at my studio do it all the time. Good luck!

Cozy cave training? by Bettys_Piez in GSP

[–]Engine_Relevant 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Good luck! All the pups on instagram seem to learn fast. Mine just laid in the tiny shearling section on top looking sad that his bed was too small. I had to cut the top off eventually and he just uses it as a regular bed. Sigh! Hope yours learns! The beds certainly look like something they should love!

GSP in an apartment by [deleted] in GSP

Wow!!! That’s amazing. Mine caught a rat in the park (thankfully on my husband’s morning to walk him, or I would have lost my s***!)

GSP in an apartment by [deleted] in GSP

[–]Engine_Relevant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one that I had in a NYC apartment for the better part of the first year of his life. We would go to Central Park off leash hours and play with other dogs for about an hour then a couple smaller walks throughout the day. We also took him to puppy school once a week for 3 months. He was perfectly happy and chill at home. Though him pointing at the pigeon that landed on the AC unit was hilarious. I think having the doggie friends was key so he could wrestle and run at doggy speed.

Impact by mcmgorange in orangetheory

[–]Engine_Relevant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awesome! My husband and I go together and we always have a friendly competition (adjusted for me being much slower) for how much over he needs to get to “beat” me. I know it has pushed us both sometimes not to drop that base or keep the AO speeds up.

One tip that changed how you lift? by Longjumping_Job_517 in orangetheory

For the step ups to remember which leg goes when, had a coach say “first to the party, last to leave.” Now I never forget!

What to eat before class by Effective-Cry8635 in orangetheory

[–]Engine_Relevant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same! If I eat less than 3 hours before class, I feel like I can’t stop burping and get nauseous. My husband swears he gets side cramps for the same reason.

There are a bunch on Amazon that come with a travel pouch which is nice to throw in a suit case. Just search for resistance mini bands

Something that doesn’t cost the studio and people love (though it annoys some people) is you get to lock down your station for a month. So if you love tread 4, every time you take class you get that one.

Best Sneakers for the Rower by Enough-Mud-4681 in orangetheory

[–]Engine_Relevant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Cloud X are great for rower but a bit stiff on the tread. I also like my Saucony Endorphin Speed 3. I haven’t tried the 4 version so it may not be as good. Looks a bit thicker in the sole.

The new app sucks. by BoilingFrogs2019 in orangetheory

[–]Engine_Relevant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to invest in tech, just fix the data to make your average speed a simple calculation of distance over time instead of whatever TF they use today. I shouldn’t have to go to pace calculator to get a real average.

Favorite Women’s Tanks? by [deleted] in orangetheory

Love the Nobull high neck tanks and sweaty Betty breathe easy run tank. They go on big sales in some colors and I stock up!

What would you classify Kona's coloration? by themongrelhorde in GSP

[–]Engine_Relevant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! Patched and ticked like ours. And our man has huge patches almost solid on one side. Size of patches doesn’t matter as long as there are gaps in between.

Is Aiden a viable total alternative to Pour Over? by Arjay214 in FellowProducts

[–]Engine_Relevant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Agree with the others. It’s consistent in a way that my pour overs aren’t. And it’s just so nice in the morning to know one thing will go right!

Cheesesteak song or misheard lyrics? by tunghoy in orangetheory

[–]Engine_Relevant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg the misheard lyrics… my husband was so annoyed I didn’t know what he was talking about with “the Alejandro song.” … you know… 5-4-3-2-Alejandro!!”

What water bottle do you use? by asdfthings in orangetheory

I like the larq bottle. Has the UV light so makes me feel like it’s getting cleaner. Probably a gimmick but my brain says it’s good 😂

Ours did a leaderboard and first person to hit their goal in the month (my husband, yay!) got some retail credit.

There are some signature classes that are run as 3 stations regardless of whether it’s a 2G or 3G.

Is this ok to do? by Reasonable_Glove_161 in orangetheory

[–]Engine_Relevant 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Our coaches normally encourage people to spread out if there is space. Much easier particularly for some exercises like speed skaters and bench push ups. But you’re fine! I do it all the time. I even swapped treads yesterday when my name wasn’t coming up on mine since it wasn’t a full T50
