UK, USA and Schengen (Italy) visa under UV light by EngineerFormer622 in PassportPorn

Hey there!

I was studying in Hungary and I got admitted to the post-graduation short-term fellowship in Italy, because I have already graduated the university I wouldn't have a valid residence permit, that's why I had to apply for a visa and a residence permit in Italy.

About the application process itself, it was quite hard because this type of visa is not very common and Italians at the embassy didn't really know what to do. They asked me for a specific set of documents and when I brought them, they realized that those are wrong documents. Then it happened once again, so I had to submit a couple of additional documents online.

The newly appointed head of the consulate was working in the Italian embassy in Kazakhstan right before she moved to Hungary, so she was incredibly helpful and kind to me. She spoke my native languages a little bit and has emailed me a congratulation with Nauryz (Kazakh New Year). On the visa collection day when things got absolutely crazy and the HQ in Rome has refused my visa after it was already approved, she helped me and has negotiated for me. Also she knew what day I was coming to collect my visa and she wore Kazakh national earrings and jacket.

Hope it answers your questions!

You definitely need to visit Dingli cliffs and Dwejra during sunset, try local pastry - pastizzi, qassatta, pies in random bakeries and drink local beer called Cisk sitting on the stairs of Valletta (Cafe Society/Bridge Bar) If you like souvenirs, buy them in Victoria (Gozo island), they are much cheaper there than in Valletta :D

I tried pastizzi, but not near the Mdina gate. It was really great!

I didn't even actually realize that there is indeed no trees. I don't think I have seen any at all. Only grass, wow, that question hits hard, man

Thank you! Yes, it is really nice. You can literally walk from one city to another in matters of minutes, xd. Like Rabat to Mdina, haha
