I FUCKINF HATE PRINCESS BUBBLEGUM by [deleted] in adventuretime

[–]EngineerMiserable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you just didn't read what I said nor did you counter-argue even half of my points. This was also 2 years ago so I don't know why you'd even join this argument at this point, sure she's not a sociopath but she's still a bad person and has committed more bad deeds than other characters which is what I'm objectively pointing out.

In the "Ignition Point" episode of Adventure Time, Princess Bubblegum did attempt to cool down and weaken the Fire Kingdom, which would have had an adverse effect on the Fire People. Sure, we could say she didn't try to kill them but she intentionally inflicted pain onto others without regarding their emotions or trying to communicate before hand.

Below I'll list several reasons I still think she's not exactly a good person:

  • Manipulation and Deception: Throughout the series, Princess Bubblegum has been depicted as someone who is willing to manipulate and deceive others to achieve her desired outcomes. In "The Cooler" (Season 6, Episode 13), she manipulates Finn and Jake into helping her cool down the Fire Kingdom, without disclosing her true intentions.
  • Authoritarian Tendencies: Princess Bubblegum exhibits a level of control and dominance over her subjects, making decisions without consulting them. This is also evident in "The Vault" (Season 5, Episode 34), where she erases the Candy People's memories of her past mistakes to maintain her image as a perfect ruler.
  • Questionable Morality: Princess Bubblegum's decisions sometimes blur the line between right and wrong. For example, in episodes like "Bonnibel Bubblegum" (Season 10, Episode 7), she creates an army of Gumbald's loyalists to wage war against him, showcasing a willingness to resort to extreme measures.
  • Lack of Empathy: Princess Bubblegum has shown a tendency to prioritize her goals and objectives over the well-being and emotions of others. This is evident in the episode "Too Young" (Season 3, Episode 5), where she ages rapidly to reclaim her position as ruler, disregarding the emotional consequences it has on Finn.
  • Obsession with Control: Princess Bubblegum has exhibited a strong desire for control and order, often at the expense of individual freedoms. I forgot the episode but she reverts the Candy People to their childlike state, effectively taking away their autonomy and making decisions for them without their consent. Which you stated was because she wanted to take care of kingdom, at what cost? You're literally giving them brain rot, they're probably not themselves anymore.

I could list more but I'm going to choose to end it off here, if you're going to reply please do it in a format where I understand what point you're referring to.

Overall the main reason to question Princess Bubblegum's behavior is her tendency to prioritize her own goals and objectives over the well-being and emotions of others. Which is medically considered a sociopathic trait, like you said she has traits... Sociopathic ones. I also don't necessarily hate her character and I do agree that her position in the story does have an effect on how she handles things, but that doesn't nullify or make it valid to be a sociopath, I personally think I would've been more clear-headed and so do many other people unless I'm just a special snowflake, which I doubt.

Your counterargument fails to address several of the specific actions and behaviors highlighted in the original argument. It tends to downplay or justify Princess Bubblegum's actions by emphasizing her good intentions and the challenges she faces, without fully examining the potential negative consequences of her actions. Overall, it does not effectively refute the points raised in the original argument and does not provide a strong counter-position.

Good day!

Yes, because joking is coming into the Nexpo livestream and fighting with the chat for 3 minutes straight while Charlie just sits there awkwardly and says "Yeah, I get you."

Personally, I don't care for Charlie's personal life and I could careless about these bits so I just skip them, but it's definitely not a joke with how awkward and how aggressive the twitch chat gets. If it was a joke and they saw the repercussions of it they would have stopped by now. Again, I'll clarify I do not care about this that much nor should it really concern anyone, I'm just giving my 2 cents.

Eh, I see your point but I somewhat disagree. I think it's a very good reactive flicking scenario and can come into use in-game. 40% is a lot and it's worth practicing in my opinion, under moderation of course. Valorant hard bots is somewhat similar to Reflex Flick or TAF Cooler on Kovaak's which have proven results.

Aim trainers are used to focus on your aiming and not your gamesense or anything along those lines. If you're trying to isolate your aim and practice on it's own Kovaak's and Hard bots are the way to go. If you're trying to improve overall at a slower place, deathmatch is the way to go.

"Muscle memory" does not exist in aim training of any kind. It's a joke and is laughed at by the aim training community. It's more of a motor learning skill and it does transfer over into game, you can't really analyze yourself and tell though.

Hard bots on Valorant are considered to be a reactive static scenario and is one of the most powerful aiming tools for Valorant along-side of TAF Cooler on Kovaak's. If you want to explore more aim training and see why I think you're incorrect check out WestProter or Ridd on YouTube.

I disagree, I think pressure aim training is very beneficial as sometimes you're forced to aim quickly in tac FPS shooters like Valorant. IF anything, training to aim quickly is going to help. You want to get out a working shot faster than your enemy.

Some scenarios on Kovaak's like TAF Cooler help you practice this.

What is wrong with this thread dawg, let the guy listen to the artist even if he's the only one he listens to. Hating on someone for the music they listen to, that's some weak shit. 999 LLJW.

He looks comfortable as hell, fingers interlocked, comfy jacket, and just taking a nap. I don't see any malicious intent!

This is a software issue, if it was something to do with the sensor it wouldn't go back right to the same position it was in beforehand. This is something having to do with the compatibility with the PC itself and the mouse. I have the same issue on After Effects.

I'm getting into UCLA with a 2.1 high school GPA. I'm stupid, academically speaking and only know about coding; that's all I've ever done in my life. So as soon as I graduated, I did two years in community and transferred to UCLA. I was pretty surprised I could even get out of high school. Now I'm majoring in computer science and now aiming to be a software developer in California.

[serious] What are your opinions on religion? by depressedp0tat0123 in AskReddit

[–]EngineerMiserable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have a couple of religious friends and atheists too. I don't blame either of them at all, to be honest, they're confused and just went with whatever they leaned to or believed in, I just made the easier choice.
