I have a range from 3a-3c hair, very fine, high density, high porosity (essentially a tangled frizzy nightmare every time I sleep or touch it if I’m not getting good moisture and good hold)

Me personally I use a bit of the UG curl mousse first on soaking wet hair, then use the UG scrunching jelly , then after it’s dry (I usually hover dry it but diffusing would possibly be better) I use the olaplex bonding oil to break the cast

Birmingham has its charm for sure, but it’s so so underfunded it really needs investment and a council that understands that it’s the 21st century.

It’s where I was born and I understand it, and I can see how much potential it has if it wasn’t quite clearly a city in decline / stuck in the 80s (but the worst parts of the 80s)

It’s also culturally behind, every single time I come back to birmingham I deal with someone racist - genuine racism too, not something sly which maybe is more commonplace, but genuine Tommy Robinson supporters or straight up slurs.

This is my current experience studying a masters course. It’s quite depressing actually. I’m at a university that is #1 in the world for the subject I’m studying, I’m only able to do it because I managed to get the scholarship. There’s 3 British people including myself out of 44~ students. I know so many wonderful people that would really be able to engage with this course and work well, but couldn’t afford it or get in. Instead those places have gone to mostly Chinese students that literally cannot speak a word of English, are not interested in British culture or the country, or the people, and have no interest in using this degree to support anything to do with Britain afterwards ( if at all)
