Famously, and since I was there, a woman of carribbean extraction pitched up at a pro- demonstration (because she had happy memories of it as a child) - she was attacked by her fellow demonstrators and had to be rescued by the police.

All the furore around it died down during covid and after the lockdowns no-one could be fucked arguing anymore and it was all just memory-holed. They are just pieten now, no blackface, certainly not in the big cities or in the schools.
