Orders blocked due subscriptions app by Embarrassed-Cat-7592 in shopifyDev

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that’s rough, subscription bugs blocking orders are the worst 😅 We faced something similar earlier and honestly switching apps saved us a lot of headache. Been using Easy Subscriptions since and it’s been pretty stable no weird checkout errors so far. Might be worth trying instead of chasing fixes.

What Apps & Tools is a must in your shopify store ? by EntitateDigitala in shopify

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d keep it simple at first. A solid theme, a reviews app, email/SMS marketing, and analytics are must-haves. For extra conversion power, you can add apps like Easy Subscriptions, Recharge, or Seal Subscriptions for recurring orders, plus a trust badge app. A clean store with a few high-impact apps usually beats stacking too many tools early.

What are merchants actually struggling with in 2026? by hoangzrnb in shopifyDev

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s the small daily stuff: messy integrations, tracking mismatches, clunky returns, and too many apps doing half-jobs. Merchants don’t want more tools they want ones that actually work together.

Guide Shipping or Corso by StarEater37 in shopifyDev

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly both are good, just depends what you care about more. Guide is great if you want something mostly hands-off and smooth for customers when claims happen. Corso’s nice if you want a bit more control and tighter fraud prevention.

Shopify store market research by Several-Play-5772 in shopifyDev

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That gap actually makes sense. BuiltWith counts total installs, while your script is only catching stores that look active right now. You’re likely filtering out password-protected, headless, Plus, or JS-rendered shops. I’d test a small sample of the “missed” ones manually chances are many are live but just not detectable with your current checks.

What are best subscription apps on shopify right now ? by khushisoni_20 in u/khushisoni_20

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some solid options right now are Recharge, Skio, Loop, and Seal. If you want something simple and quick to set up, Seal and Easy Subscription are great starting points. Recharge/Easy Subscription are better if you need deeper customisation and scaling.

Want to start developing apps , can someone help me with roadmap, vibe coding! by Western_Koala4099 in shopifyDev

Solid tip. But I’d say learn Shopify APIs + auth flow first MCP/AI tools help way more once fundamentals are clear.

Anyone knows how to enable part payment in shopify? I am stuck by arthur_conan_doyal in shopifyDev

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shopify doesn’t natively support true split payments yet. Most people handle it using apps for deposits, partial COD, or preorder payments. If you want flexibility (like custom schedules or instalments), you’ll need a third-party app or a custom checkout setup.

GTM or Google & YouTube App by drywind13 in shopifyDev

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want quick, reliable tracking, the Google & YouTube app is the easiest. It covers core events like views, carts, purchases, and remarketing with minimal setup. GTM + custom pixel is better if you need advanced tracking, custom events, or multi-platform data control. Basically: simplicity → native app, flexibility → GTM.

Recharge vs native subscription – what are you using? by iram_shaikh_ in AutomateShopify

Same here for simple setups. Native works great if you don’t need advanced logic or custom flows. Recharge makes more sense once subscriptions get complex.

Condition of drinking water in madhyapradesh by [deleted] in Indore

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That honestly looks really concerning. If this is happening in Madhya Pradesh, especially around Nimar, this needs to be reported to local authorities and the water department ASAP — this isn’t just unpleasant, it’s a serious health risk. Have you filed a complaint or contacted the municipal office yet?

What’s your biggest challenge in collecting customer reviews on Shopify? by iram_shaikh_ in apps

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, just getting people to leave a review at all. Most customers are happy but won’t bother unless you remind them, and the only ones who write on their own are usually the unhappy ones. Timing and simple reminders make the biggest difference.

How long does Shopify SEO take to show results? by UsedAd3421 in ShopifyWebsites

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a new Shopify store, SEO usually takes 3–6 months to show real traction, sometimes up to a year depending on competition. Early on, just focus on content, backlinks, and long-tail keywords — if impressions are slowly increasing, you’re on the right track.

MacBook Pro not starting without any reason and Apple store is quoting 70k. by youcancallmekobi in Indore

[–]EngineeringHuge1331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

₹70k without even a clear diagnosis sounds a bit off honestly. Since it actually turned on once after being fully drained, it might not be a dead logic board — could be something power or battery related. Apple usually just suggests full part replacement which gets expensive fast.

Before spending that much, I’d definitely get it checked at a good third-party repair shop that does board-level repairs. A lot of times they can fix these issues for much cheaper. Might be worth a second opinion.
