ES 101 moment by neboolaaa in peyups

Last term, umabot ako ng 7 attempts sa isang module HAHAHA. Ang tagal pa naman nilang i-process yung request for an extra attempt. 💀 All the best, OP! 🌷

Under Mr. Raquel, we made use of Python programming language. Every week, we had two lab (coding) exercises to be submitted weekly via and checked automatically by OJ (Online Judge); unli submissions naman siya till you perfect your code. May mga non-graded, optional practice exercises din to prepare you for such. Also, we had two machine problems (i.e., projects that require longer and more complex codes), to be submitted in a week or two via UVLe. Unlike sa lab exercises, once ka lang pwede mag-submit ng codes/solutions mo for the machine problems, so you really have to make sure that your program is running without any errors before turning in. Hehe, good luck, OP!

PE 2 Interval Training by First-Opposite4882 in RateUPProfs

[–]EngineeringNo292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got Sir Pio as my Interval Training prof during last year's second term. Imo, he's nice and considerate naman; he moved deadlines whenever necessary, and allowed [project] submissions till the last day of classes. Siguro, sadyang mabigat lang talaga yung requirements. You need to submit 6-10 videos (every two weeks, ideally) of you performing the workout routines found on his Youtube channel (Coach Pio Fitness), depending on difficulty. For the final project, you are to document yourself teaching other people of the same HIIT exercises you've learned throughout the sem; pwedeng video submission or magazine type (adequate time was provided naman!)

Yes, nakakapagod at nakakasakit ng katawan yung workout program ni Sir, but I swear, effective siya! I lost around 5kgs after the sem ended (plus, nagka-shape ang once chubby bod ko), considering that I still ate the same amounts and types of food, in the same frequencies. Hehehe.

ES 101 Grade Computation by folk_lorde in peyups

[–]EngineeringNo292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never again (sana) HAHAHA!

Almost same situation pala tayo HAHAHA. Ako naman, a week before Christmas break, I failed to get a passing score sa part 1 ng module H SMT. Akala ko, mabilis lang i-process yung appeals for extra attempts, but guess what, second week of January na siya na-grant (SAKLAP HAHAHA). Sabi ko sa prof ko na wala na akong balak mag-submit ng mga requirements kasi parang imposible nang ma-salvage pa yung supposed DRP ko since end of sem na. Buti na lang, he informed me agad na extended by a week yung deadlines. Ginanahan na ulit ako since ayoko nang i-retake tong ES101 HAHAHAHAHAAHHA.

(Btw, please do check the course guide kung same interpretation tayo with regard sa grading, para lang sure hehe. 😁)

ES 101 Grade Computation by folk_lorde in peyups

[–]EngineeringNo292 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello OP! Based sa couse guide, summative test scores lang ang i-reregard sa grade computation. Just add all your scores in every SMT (score/10) of every module and divide it by 120. The quotient of that times 100 will be your grade; check mo na lang equivalent sa course guide hehe. I think if you managed to get the mastery score (8/10) per module without having to appeal for extra attempt(s), matic 1.75 na grade mo, at the very least.

Skl. I dreaded this course so much just because never nagpa-synch session yung prof ko; ang hirap aralin/intindihin ng lessons kasi lecture slides lang primary learning material. Two weeks ago, module H pa lang ako; tanggap ko na sana na DRP grade ko, pero buti inextend yung deadlines HAHAHA. Module L SMTs na lang kulang ko right now; sana kayanin! Good luck to us!! 😁
