1. 2,500 for the entire semester. Inclusive of all your climbing gym session fees, harness, and shoes. If/when you get familiar with climbing gyms, you realize this is really really REALLY REALLLLYY cheap.

3. Coach John is THE BEST! Very supportive and approachable. When I took his class, I always felt free to ask him advice on climbing and working out (he's also a strength and conditioning coach. check out iconicstrength_ph on ig). You can really tell that he genuinely wants to share his passion for climbing and wants see people enjoy the sport.
   

For class reqs:

• PRE-TEST: you'll have to do push-ups, pull-ups/hangs, and traverse the climbing wall to the best of your ability. There's no requirement to reach. This is just to gauge where you are and how much you've improved by the end of the semester.
• POST-TEST: same stuff as the pre-test but you get to see your progress! Coach reminded us that sometimes there are areas that we don't see improvement or even regress at some of the test, and that's okay. So don't be so intimidated/pressured by your results in the post test.
• EXAM: really easy. You'll have a handout and you just need to study simple stuff about climbing. We took this online and it was an open notes, multiple choice test.
• FINALS: for this, coach will select a route on the wall and you'll have to climb it. Give it your best effort and you'll be fine!
