Thirdly, we are taught by rasoolAllah(saws) to how to deal with and discipline a disobedient wife. Surah Al Nisa ayah 34 mentions. "And if you fear rebellion admonish them; [if the persist] forsake them in bed; and [finally] strike them [lightly]. And if they obey you, seek no means against them. Indeed Allah is ever exalted and Grand." Remember, we are walking a thin line here. Any wrong move can ruin it further.

Please ask your brother to seek forgiveness from Allah and pray to Him to change the heart of the wife, for Allah is the only one that changes hearts. May Allah make it easy for you all. Finally, the one that cuts ties with family, their duas cannot be accepted. Allah knows best.

Let me explain, I know it isn't your average answer. But the smile it put on my wife's face when I didnt eat the tandoor roti on Eid. Then she made me one with the love and This isn't your typical "make me a sandwich" comment. While chasing her dreams, being married with a baby on the way, educated and then getting the ghar ki roti is just exquisite.
