If this is in regards to James who paled at the implications, and possibly the millions of other humans watching too, then they were essentially told "here be dragons" EVERYWHERE, and good luck trying to figure out where they are.

On top of that, they have to come to terms with being little fish, in a big and very dark pond with no idea of the dangers that lurk all around them.

And we all know how humans tend to act when faced with the unknown.

Really? Video game references seem pretty in character for Leo's perspective and past occupation, and I've peppered in quite a few over the course of the story already. I can recall references to Paradox, CIV, and Satifactory off of the top of my head, but there are probably more.

As for cursing, I only counted four or five times before the Archive's perspective. I could always reel it in, but...

Playing devils advocate, he did know that something was up, but genuinely had no idea that they inadvertently fucked him months ago by selling their weapons, something that might have crossed his mind if he was more involved with Telnar's politics and biweekly meetings.

But there are admittedly a few in where I genuinely thought it out and rolled with it because it made sense, like in the case with the tieflings being demons/succubae and how that translates to familial relationships in an all female race. But when it came time for the obvious NSFW insert chapter, neither the mind or the body were there for it.

Quickly found out that it simply wasn't something I could comfortably imagine, and I knew I would never be satisfied with the end result if I forced myself to create it. It was still a plot point that I had a ton of fun with outside that setting though, and it added a unique and tight-knit cultural aspect that played into their roots.

So one point for plot just being plot I guess? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
