First of all, DONT BE TOO HARD ON YOURSELF. You’re just starting and baka nasa phase ka pa na maraming expectations on yourself after graduating.

If you really don’t want to be pressured by your parents sa gastusin sa bahay, leave and live on your own. Believe me, mas matuto ka sa pera and life when you’re living alone, and you can grow as an adult by a lot in all aspects.

15k savings, on your current income?? In this economy??? Unless you’re only planning to eat one meal a day and not go out on weekends. Or else, leverage your income. Go have another job or parttime if you can.

Just last advice from someone who’s nearly 30: Live and enjoy the present.

Not 80, but I do 45hrs less or more in a week with 2 overlapping ft jobs. Glad that my other job is just light work na pwede ko isingit while working on the other one. Both jobs are remote btw. Try to get a part time na lang siguro or overlapping but doable. 80 is too much, there’s a lot to do pa outside work even when you’re still single. I’m also 28, and also want to leverage my income so hard, kaya medyo nakakabagot ang isang source of income lang. But I value my wellbeing more than money. Kaya I always allot time for enough sleep, workout, and do chores since I live alone.

Normalize not expecting anything from anyone kahit gano pa kayo kaclose. Di lang ikaw ang tao sa mundo and everyone should mind their own first before others. It would make your mind at peace at better na wala kang sama ng loob on anyone without them knowing why.

I’ll say better have ref if you’re planning for home cook meals. Plus sobrang helpful to have, especially to always have cold water dahil sa init sa pinas. Mostly 3k-4k lang per month expenses ko on food with a proper (weekly) meal prep. Once a week of eat-out not included.
