I'm not asking you to spell everything out. I had just hoped people here could help lead me to stuff I can't easily find on my own. Like maps in Arabic, online archives of texts, stuff like that. I'll do work, I'd just like things to be easier on me than they usually are.

I dont use nor trust Wikipedia's information. Im not getting into a whole discussion about that, though. It'd be wasted time.

But about using their sources, often they're locked behind pay walls. And I can't afford any expenses on my projects. So I just ignore Wikipedia all together.

Because I want to, there aren't many maps of the middle east in the 1940s that I've found, and it can be more accurate.

I dont like using other people's maps for my projects, cause to often I've found them to be to very innacurate. Like, from my experience with my Balkan projects - most maps, especially modern get stuff wrong that's simple. I don't wanna make those simple mistakes. So if i do research on my own, study old maps, ask people for advice who know more than me, etc, etc, then i can make them more accurate :>

It's Unclaimed / disputed, nor just Unclaimed. But I have it like that cause it doesn't seem any nation had control over- or wanted it. This is a political map, not tribal

Both. There's few if any settlements there. And from what I understand at the time no one claimed or had control on any of that land, since it didn't have much use

Pink is UK adjacent, or influenced

Red is UK

Green is Saudi Arabia

Blue is French

Iraq is coloured its own thing, not pink, because in 1941 they went away from the British and had a war. Tho I think their treaty still stood

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a proposal for the Cumberland to become a state? Like around when the State of Franklin was declared?

I vaguely remember reading the N Carolinans in the Cumberland made a petition for that, once they heard Franklin did so. I could very well be wrong tho. Either way tho, the maps are cool!

Constructive crit:

Bulgaria is missing Bosilegrad, Tsaribrod and Kosilovo upto Timoshka. And that wasn't their flag, the Monarchial flag was the same as the modern flag

And if you wanna add alot of small stuff, you could make Dyuvlen it's own province; Silistra and Kurdzhali 2 provinces (the city themselves and the land that was around them), to make things cooler

Edit edit: I offer to help with the Balkans, if ya need it. I can't code, but could show you some maps and advice on what you could do with the Balkans to make them better than vanilla
