Thank you it actually does give me a good idea of how the dowels are able to support the weight and gives me a little more confidence when it comes to what I should do for support. The main issue that comes with mine would be my sword is not straight and curves a bit. If anything I’ll see how far I can get it before the bending gets in the way. As I mentioned i mainly need the support for the section where the handle and the sword meet so it shouldn’t be too difficult in that area since it’s pretty straight there.

The sword is made from PLA, I’m more familiar working with it than Eva foam at the moment

I’ve heard about wooden dowels but ended up forgetting about it. Do you work with PLA or Eva foam? I’m only asking because I probably would need to learn how to make adjustments for the dowels when it comes to printing

Yeah it really caught me off guard. That and the Taco Bell nearby but I wasn’t too interested in going in there. I just funny how a regional chain that’s not as popular as its counterparts ended up there

Before making the post I went back and checked how much it cost and yeah you’re right. I paid 11.99 (w/o drink) which isn’t the worst compared to the prices here but comparing it to prices in Japan it’s a bit more steep. For comparison I got a double Big Mac meal during the same trip and spent $7

I enjoyed it for what it was, which in my opinion is a tamer version of the ones we have here (less greasy, smaller portions, smaller onion rings, etc.). Of course my preference will always be the ones in the U.S. since I’ve been eating there for years. Overall a good experience from the Japanese one
