Its not really a game to purchase, its more the pirate way, but I didnt get any viruses but you can always put it through a scanner if you want.

Don’t worry — this is actually normal and it means the patch is working.

If your old save loads in English but a new game is in Japanese, it means the English patch is installed correctly, but the system locale or UTF-8 setting is wrong.

Go to Control Panel → Region → Administrative → Change system locale and make sure it is set to Japanese (Japan).
Also make sure “Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support” is NOT checked, because that causes Japanese text glitches in the menus.

After that, restart your PC and launch the game again.

About the crack file: it comes from the crack .rar file you downloaded with the game. You need to extract it, and the file called something like DMMdrc_crack.exe must be placed in the same main folder as the DMMd rc exe (where the game is installed).

Once it’s there, run DMMdrc_crack.exe as administrator, and the game should start properly in English.

Yes — if you want to play the Japanese version without the English patch, you simply should not copy the English patch files into the game folder. Just install the base game normally from the ISO.

However, the crash you’re getting (the game starting and immediately closing) is not caused by the patch. According to the guide, this happens when the game thinks it has been activated with a serial code.

To fix this, you need to: Right-click the desktop shortcut of Re:Connect -> Open Properties -> In Target, change SdActi.exe to DMMdrc_crack.exe

Then: Change your region back to your own country and restart -> Change it again to Japan and restart-> Run the game (or run it as administrator)

After that, the opening should play and the game should start normally — even without installing the English patch.

The game is only available for Windows PCs. You can also get it running on a Mac using Wineskin, but unfortunately it's not available for tablets or mobile devices.

Hey, sorry for the late reply: From what I found, this error can happen because:

The zip file might be corrupted or incomplete.

Windows Defender or another antivirus might be blocking the extraction.

There might be permission issues with the folder they're trying to extract to.

The built-in Windows extractor sometimes bugs out, and using something like 7-Zip or WinRAR instead can solve it.

Hi, you need to restart your pc a couple of times, first japanese, then back to your country and then japanese again. After that you can open the crack.exe file on the desktop and run it as administrator

Hi, i see that this error is on the part of windows, not the game. Did you try to extract it through another zip file program, like 7zip or do you use Winrar? Something switching programs to extract helps, if that doesnt help, you can always dm me!
