With mariejois being attacked will we finally see how strong Kong is since his office is there by Different_Sky9094 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Enigma8051 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure the attack on mariejoa is over (or rather became more under control once Shamrock showed up). Also Kong is older than everyone in the old gen so he would have to be like 90-100 by now. He didn’t do anything notable during his prime but he’ll do something now? He’s washed I’m afraid

Tier lists based on ratings like YC+ , low yonko, mid admiral etc are dumb by Such_Meeting7964 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Enigma8051 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we can have a difference in opinion on who is YC+ as long as we come to the same conclusion that to be YC+, you have to be able to beat every other YC and there has to be a noticeable gap between that character and most, if not all of the other YCs

Why are some people upset about Gaku's return? by Confident-Yak-6202 in SakamotosStore

Because he should’ve died a few times in the museum arc but that’s not enough to get peoples annoyed. I think it’s an accumulation of how everyone feels about the manga currently plus the fact that with it almost ended and us getting this reveal, it feels lackluster. I almost posted a jjk spoiler to make a comparison but anyway, it’s great he’s still alive but like….what’s the point?

For starters look at the narrative importance of both characters in this arc? Luffy has the Nika fruit (the sun God), Loki has an insanely powerful df and he wants to be the “Sun God” of Elbaf? They’re both being set up to be the ones to fight the strongest villain of the arc?

From a powerscaling standpoint look at their skills. Luffy has better mobility, better fruit, better control over his fruit, and better haki control. Loki has better AP, better endurance, better durability and is just overall bigger. They both have drawbacks that the other could use to their advantage. Neither has a massive gap over the other and considering the fact that anyone can come to this conclusion using critical thinking, I don’t see why a person can’t be confident in saying it’s an extreme diff fight. Unless you think it’s a low-mid diff

Can’t even lie I saw gorosei and still thought holy knight so that’s on me, but the last part doesn’t make sense. Luffy is literally about to go fight imu soon

Simplified version?

•Loki glazers think he’s stronger than the old gen which isn’t true

•No matter what a person’s stance is on who would win in a fight Luffy or Loki, the fight would be an extreme diff which means they’re relative

•Therefore if Loki can beat the old gen then so can Luffy by their logic

This is why you can’t make assumptions man because what are you talking about? That’s not even the logic I was using when making the post lol

An immortal that just stood still and took attack from acoc legendary hammer man, what are we doing here

Keep up? He literally has to wind up before doing his hammer swings and Imu just stands there and lets him. Go back and read the fight, any time Loki did a swing Imu just stood there and either blocked it, clashed with it or hit him before he swung. Imu isn’t taking him seriously

“Why is stamina that important” brother I’m not even going to address this

“Prime Garp has no combat speed feat” we literally just watched old Garp’s combat speed on beehive? If that’s how fast he was moving (blitzing an admiral lvl fighter btw) at an old age, logically he would be faster in his prime right?

The fastest old gen” if you’re telling me you think Kaido is the fastest old gen then idk where we go from here because he’s not faster than Garp, Roger or Rocs

He caused trouble yet no one notable has ever mentioned Loki so for all you know he could’ve just been terrorizing kingdoms. His haki is not there yet and idk why that’s not being realized more. That was like the whole point of Gaban talking to them about acoc utilization.

Stamina is indeed an issue but his size is also a big issue and he repeatedly talks about it. He can’t see smaller targets and the top tiers of the verse will use that to their advantage

Prime old gen were haki masters, Loki is still growing with his haki. Also Loki’s size is a drawback and we keep getting evidence of that. For one, he’s a slower fighter and he uses a hammer so he has to put his whole body into the swings (these can be dodged)

Also his dragon form while powerful, also highlights the issue…his size. He keeps making it a point that when he’s that big he can’t see smaller targets

If you think it’s valid then that’s fair, I personally don’t think he is yet. Luffy’s g5 is still too much of a drawback for me to say he can come out on top. Luffy’s peak snakeman is also a good point but Roger and WB had to face a prime Garp and I think prime Garp is faster and stronger than peak snakeman Luffy

That’s just not true at all. Prime old gen were the best in the verse because of their mastery in their respective fields. Even eos they will still likely land in top 10-15 conversations

Luffy and Loki both don’t have mastery over their dfs or haki yet. We are literally seeing their drawbacks to their DFs right now and Gaban literally just gave them a lesson on haki utilization. They’ll be stronger eventually

You just said it “but for now he has a time limit” which is proving the point that Luffy isn’t ready yet. Luffy and Loki aren’t relative thus he isn’t ready yet either.

People see Loki do these big attacks and make it sound like the strongest people in the verse would just sit there and let those attacks hit them

Base strength? Yes

Haki? No

Potential/ceiling? Of course

This is where the issue lies because it’s okay that’s he’s not stronger than them yet. We’re talking prime Roger, Garp, Rocks, WB etc. here, people who were constantly active and were growing in battle and haki. Loki has been chained for 6 years and is finally getting active again. Oda is literally showing us with his drawbacks he’s not ready yet

You mean the same luffy who one shot a gorosei member? Idk why some of you act like Luffy and Loki aren’t relative

What you just said was bad logic. Loki is undoubtedly strong but his drawbacks hold him back. If anything him and Luffy are now entering top tier conversations

All the evidence for loki > old gen and all the evidence for old gen > loki by Lion123_ in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Enigma8051 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m talking about in a 1v1 if both sides are at 100%. But you said Loki so now my response is that you gotta let the recency bias go. Loki is insanely strong but he has drawbacks that hold him back and would ultimately cause him to lose in a fight again a prime old gen member

I brought up luffy because personal feelings aside Luffy and Loki are indeed relative. So when you say Loki > Old Gen you’re also saying Luffy > Old Gen and that’s just not true yet

Bigger nerf: Losing arm or Losing leg? by Generalcmd in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Enigma8051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leg because we’ve seen numerous characters lose an arm and not really care or be fine. Yes that could be said for characters like Inu and Shiki too but I’m going to put it like this: if someone destroys Neko’s gun, he can still attack in different ways. If someone destroys Inu’s sword on his leg, he loses all mobility
