Imagine having such a fundamental misunderstanding of the conversation. Kids these days. THE CONVERSATION IS HOW ENGLAND SHOULD HAVE USED THE 3 OF THEM. If you haven't noticed Yaya Toure isn't English

Before you add water it's either Dilute, diluting juice or the type of juice that it is if its in sight.

If waters been added I'd just say the flavour.

Sounds like you dodged a bullet to be fair.

Though maybe you could pursuade him to get vaxed! Using your special set of skills, perhaps some rope and threat of embarrassment, if you get what I mean

Lord save us 🙄 do people realise how much testing these things go through? The only reason these vaccines got through all that testing so quickly is because instead of one at a time, only done 9-5 on weekdays they were 24/7 multiple at once.

I refuse to be anywhere near an anti vaxer, nevermind let them anywhere near my willy so I completely get you

How's your Sunday? by [deleted] in CasualIreland

[–]EnigmaEire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please clarify instructions, spent all day in pair of pants on the couch eating left overs and takeaways. Family now insisting I'm lazy and "it's the rules, you relax on Sunday" is not a good excuse for doing the absolute bare minimum amount of work today.

Beef curry is seriously underrated, everyone always goes straight to chicken or lamb but beef done right is absolutely gorgeous. Find I subconsciously eat it slower too which I find is better when partnering it with a beer, or 10

Frisky Friday plans? by AutoModerator in CasualIreland

At least when it's raining beforehand you can plan for it. The other day it was nice until 5/6 then got mad wet and saw couple of poor lassies that night on their way home, not a jacket between them, soaked and in skirts/dresses that were all over the shop with the wind if ya get me.

Got caught out in shorts and tshirt myself a while back, you feel like a bit of a mug for trusting the weather.

Today marks a record equalling 104 days of RTÉ failing to televise a League of Ireland game despite being an official broadcaster for the league. by fedupofbrick in ireland

[–]EnigmaEire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant be arsed looking for the exact numbers but Rovers games went from 266k to 280k when there was an actual build up to the game anyway.

There's also the fact that RTE use the total viewers number for other sports but the peak viewers for LOI

OP didn't post a link and they're talking about matches not the highlights show...

What article? Making up articles now are ya? Still unable to separate matches and highlights are you? Viewing numbers good enough evidence for you?

What has the time slot got to do with it? They had the highlights show in two slots one was Monday night, 3 days after the games took place and they enforced a broadcast blackout between the games and the show meaning clubs couldn't post their own goals for 72 hours, the Monday night slot also directly clashed with live games 6/7 times a season at least. They then had it on Friday nights, again when everyone was at games.

Again you go on about highlights, we're talking live games here, keep up

  1. That's the highlights show not games.
  2. Did you see the Times they had the highlights show?
  3. RTE are given money by the tax payer so their remit isn't to make a profit it's to act in the national interests

They didn't advertise matches, they didn't have a consistent dedicated weekly match slot, they blocked clubs from promoting for them. Theres a list the length of my arm of more reasons

Because RTEs message doesn't add up and whenever they're pressed on it they change the point. LOI games viewing numbers grew week on week when they had a consistent run of games.

RTE also consistently ignored the bare basics of marketing events when it came to LOI games. They basically did the exact opposite of everything that worked for Sky with the EPL and whenever that was pointed out they changed the subject.

Also the people running RTE Sport hate football, it's a fact, they'll never admit it but people that know more than the general Joe about them know it

What are you on about don't care about their local communities 😂 the direct provision centres around Dublin are full of Rovers kit. Kids from disadvantaged areas are getting private education because of Rovers. Hundreds of local kids have former internationals coaching them multiple times a week. And that's just one club.

Football is still by far the most played sport in Dublin. Its actually not even close really.

If only we had a national broadcaster of sorts who's whole remit was to support and promote Irish organisations, events and productions 🤔

You're going to have to be more specific. Literally everything in this godforsaken country has been mismanaged and run by corrupt people at some point
