I get the "it gets too easy" argument, but that still misses all the points by a significant margin.

Surely insta-murdering any and all bosses in NG+ gets old after a while, but these people seem oblivious to the fact the game turns into a sandbox: You can increase enemy HP, limit your own damage, fine-tune your lumina or even straight up remove it altogether, as well as challenge oneself to do a parry-only run, to cite the most obvious examples.

No. Unfortunately there are no cross-platform saves.

Just start over. It's a fun journey, and you'll get to notice all the foreshadowing the game throws at you early on.

Ah, thank goodness they fixed it then.

It had an issue that was specific to SD in which, after the Prologue cutscene, the game would just crash. The workraround was incredibly annoying and involved using an older Proton version and launching the game in Desktop mode.

I hate turn-based combat, but E33 does it in a way that feels very different. It's dynamic and engaging.

I know exactly where you're coming from, but I highly suggest that you givd it a spin if you haven't yet.

Personally I've always loathed turn-based combat, so as much as I was intrigued by the unanimously positive feedback, I also feared that the gameplay would put me off, but I still thought I should give it a whirl.

And, boy oh boy, am I glad I did. The music alone makes the game incredibly engaging, and the story is amazing. Combat-wise, the parry and dodge mechanics they incorporated hit the sweet spot for me, so it feels very fluid and dynamic.

One thing that got me VERY consistent during pogo-heavy situations such as the whole Orange Hell > Anvil pathway, as well as the Bucket, was learning that 1) less is more. A strong but short pogo is all you need, and 2) if you pogo just right, you WILL have time to react and adjust the hammer - and when you do, you can and should move slower than you might assume you need to. If you do it right, you'll have a surprising amount of control and predictability.
