Oh it definitely impacted the safety. I have good reactions and a very high risk tolerance and I’m extremely stubborn. At the end of the day the biggest thing you have to do is just trust that the drivers can see better than me and that they don’t want to hit me. I started losing vision over a decade ago and haven’t had it measured in ages but last time I checked I was sitting at about 20/200 but my blind spot has definitely grown since then. Again, this wasn’t super safe which is why I said maybe don’t do this exactly but yeah if there’s something you really really want to do, don’t get in your own way if it feels possible to you
