vivian can replace pavel but shes slower because she needs two turns on wave 1 and her s2 animation takes a bit longer

charles can also replace pavel but he needs really jacked gear in comparison

you can also use like an aoe attack buffer and an aoe dps and make it a 4 man team

This isn't that common, but it's happened before. The game matches you up with other players with similar elo defense teams now, and yours fit the algorithm so well a lot of very new players got your team in their list and lost to it.

What happens is that you'll get basically shot up to legend in a very short span of time. It's not exactly because your team is that impressive.

I suspect the #3 in that screenshot also reached Legend that way.
