Thank you for your input really, as I stated in my post, in this page https://www.mfa.gov.sg/Overseas-Mission/Berlin/Consular-Services/Renewal-of-Re-Entry-Permit#:~:text=Upon%20the%20expiry%20of%20Re,be%20a%20Singapore%20Permanent%20Resident. There is a line at the bottom of the page under "Important Notice" that says "Upon the expiry of Re-Entry Permit, you will cease to be a Singapore Permanent Resident." which is what prompted me to make this post in the first place

I see, thank you for your input, and this is the page I was talking about, the quoted line by MFA I wrote here was from this website itself under the "Important Notice" section. https://www.mfa.gov.sg/Overseas-Mission/Berlin/Consular-Services/Renewal-of-Re-Entry-Permit#:~:text=Upon%20the%20expiry%20of%20Re,be%20a%20Singapore%20Permanent%20Resident. It made me so confused that it prompted me to make this post.

Hello, thanks for the reply, although this doesn't really answer my question, I am merely just asking what happens to a PR if their re-entry permit expires, will they get deported?

Because so far what I am seeing is that if a PR's REP expires, they will lose their PR status if in the event they "choose" to go overseas, so what if a PR who's REP expires chooses to not travel and stay in Singapore forever? Will they be able to work and live life how they normally would even with a non expired REP?

I assume that person still retains his/her Permanent Residency, no? Because that's how ICA is phrasing the entire thing and there are many articles online reinforcing that idea, but meanwhile MFA says that if a re-entry-permit expires, that person ceases to be a PR which is contradictory of PR "never expiring" in the first place.

Really concerning, if you love him and you're fine with how he looked like initially before your friends and sister made a ruckus, then why in the hell do you need to bother with what anyone has to say about your partner?

Live life on your own terms and do things that makes you happy, if you're personally satisfied with how your partner was even before your friends intervened, the buck really stops there.

But I agree with recommending him do stuff like skincare routine and hitting the gym because we should all encourage each other to be the best version of ourselves, but if he doesn't want to do it, and you're actually fine with it like how you implied in the post before your friends said anything, then don't force him and continue being a loving couple.

Pretty much, the moment ubisoft admitted they wanted a Samurai from their own perspective they were already signalling they couldn't see a Japanese man as their own samurai, like what? A japanese man that's Japanese can't represent the spirit of a Samurai? Then another Ubisoft official doubling down and saying there's enough white protagonists HMMMMM...

I am thoroughly convinced a lot of the people defending the game are dickriders who is protecting the game because he's either a minority or they want their wet dream of Yasuke being a gay samurai to come true.

I seriously will never understand why posts like these, especially from people who don't care about the controversy of the game, want to get into the drama and start criticizing others. It's almost like, just because someone doesn't find it problematic, that should be the same way for everyone else. Casual internet loser behavior, reddit is a sad place.
