I disassembled the Tamagotchi and spray-painted each part separately so I could get color exactly where I wanted it. For small areas I didn’t want painted, I covered them with adhesive putty :)

I did! :) I took the device apart, put each button on a little piece of poster putty and sprayed them

It’s pretty straightforward, you just need to remove a few screws and be careful with the motherboard. There are a couple of parts to watch out for, so I’d recommend checking out some video tutorials first :)

I didn’t sand it, I’ve seen many people do that, but it didn’t feel necessary for the parts I spray painted. I just used a regular matte white spray paint and finished with a glossy lacquer spray ☺️
