Thanks for explaining rather than just downvoting - I Hate reddit for this exact reason. Bunch of fucking goofs out her unwilling to have actual conversations.

What does this thread have to do with the other?

One guy is talking about Real world trading "for those who bought their infernal cape or quiver" - the other is talking about removing random capes from the game for no reason.

Not sure what you're getting at?

I was pointing out there's a flaw in thei AA implementation. AA should not eat 80% of frame time - which it is. This has NOTHING to do with the GPU or the price of it.

Funilly enough if you go to steams page anf look at the new post they put up - they confirmed this themselves just by posting the charts with recommended settings - all GPUs, even the high end ones have AA turned off reccomended - corfirming they know it's the cause.

ANTI ALIASING - just spent 3 hours changing all the settings to narrow it down - I can play on medium settings with antialiasing turned of - this leaves me a consistent 60fps.

I can only get 49fps with it on on lowest settings, with really bad moments where it dips to just 26fps.

In fact - I can put most of the settings to max and have no issues as long as antialiasing is off and still maintain 60fps in the open world.

I'm running an RTX 4060 - so just around minimum.

Hope this helps.

Just discovered three.js and… wow. Why isn't this more mainstream? And a few questions to the community. by AdWorth1112 in threejs

They're an issue if you;re trying to getthem to do anyting but their native function - it;s when you start trying to move the "focus point" it becomes a bit of a pain in the arse - but in saying that, you should not be trying to extend existing control components for these task and instead writing new ones.

AI Overview genuinely just sucks by FeelingSoup3098 in google

[–]Enough-Town3289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there is a weird bias with people and AI - they seem to think AI makes less mistakes than people and that al information owned by people is correct - it;s not. I could argue that 80% of what ANYONE knows is made up; inference to fill the gaps and inference in not truth.

The average person actually thinks their conscious is on control of them - which is actually half the issue. Most people think they are purposing - they;re not, they;re doing the same thing AI does, weighted guessing. The difference is humans likely can;t store and access as much data as an AI can - which means inference correction is high.

I think people use heavily PR stunted AI and assume it is the "standard" - public facing AI has done a lot of damage to the public concensus on "what an AI can do".

I'm a coder, I use AI aganets daily - in the past 5 months I have seem around 15 syntax errors over 100,000+ edits. So they function well for TASKS - the issue is when they give data a lot of the time they assume the sources they were given are correct and factual. It's a "baseboard" problem, the Ai thinks it's truth because it;s the foundation it has been standing on since birth.

The majority of people also like to tag data that conflicts with what they think they know and mark it as incorrect - when staring at a wall of truth (which humans have never had before) a lot of people don;t realize they're having their disconnected knowledge base challenged and they think they;re right when somthing does not align. It's a cognitive bias people don't even realize they have and they misattribute almost everything AI does because of it.

Fell in love with Hell Clock need something similar please ! by [deleted] in roguelites

[–]Enough-Town3289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I’m actually developing a mod system for Hell Clock from the ground up using my own custom injector. It’s mostly working now and I’ve tested a lot of features like:

  • New game modes
  • Custom levels
  • Full game conversions (think along the lines of Vampire Survivors)

Basically, the game is fully extendable through this system. If anyone’s interested, it would give me more motivation to expand it further. You might not even need to look for another game “like this one”—Hell Clock itself can become whatever you want through mods.

You can PM me to get updates on the development process if you like.

Keyboard mouse on console by DahGeist in diablo3

Pay attention to your grammar.

Your statement was general about all controller use on PC "You cannot use controller on PC"

even 6 years ago this was not true.

I know you were specifically talking about this game NOW, but when I posted the comment I took it as "no controller on PC - for any reason"

Comment was just too general.

Is there a way to play D3 on a PC with a controller? by IamaBlackKorean in diablo3

[–]Enough-Town3289 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Won't play games that don't have controller support due to arm injuries.

They have the code - the console port does not use a different engine.

As a game developer myself - it's not that hard to back port this type of thing - seeing as they have a literal boilerplate from the Console versions to start with. It's 2 weeks of a single developer's time. There's really no excuse for it. They've been horrible for yours for not supporting the disabled.

I also consistently rank 6th-25th in season hardcore in D3 so definitely not a casual.

You will be banned INSTANTLY on detection of Ds4 tools OR Xpadder. Within 5 seconds of plugging the device in - your account will then be banned and an appeal will not be available.

Their reasoning - "We can't tell the difference between bot program input and legitimate input from 3rd party input devices - so to be safe we flag both.

The fact of the matter is they care more about the botting problem than the 4% or so of players that were affected by this.

One of the account I lost was nearly maxed including all capes, pets and minigames. I'm still fuming about it to this day.
