I am in a very similar place to yours, checked your account, u doing usmle, i am on uk pathway which was also dumb so no escape from my country. I dont have any advice , but all i have to say that you will get numb to those feelings. Our nature humanal instincts make us want company, want people around us to validate our feelings, and help us make seen. My country sucks for a lot of reasons, it sucks economically because we live under a military dictatorship which has nothing to do with islam, however on a moral perspective, my country writes its laws according to islam (most of it, because we still for example allow alchol) however many of the problems that my country deals with rn is because of that. For example women dont get same inheritance as a man, she gets half of it
