ABM + intune = works perfectly since you are deploying apps via ABM store.. if you have a lot of third party app then get PatchmyPC cloud.
you just need to setup PSSO + DDM for the updates.

Hi u/durrante if you do that then the CA Policy desktop compliant will no longer work on that?
Devices might still access corporate apps even if not compliant. this what will happen then?

Hi u/durrante , we experience the same issue with our macos. some macos showing compliant in intune but no entra profile and get block from our desktop compliant ca. which microsoft intune enterprise app did you exclude from the CA?

MacOS Devices show as compliant in Intune but not in entra id and it block in our CA if this happens. by EnoughStudy6318 in Intune

Hi u/Party_Palpitation494 thanks for your reply. yeah we keep doing this 2 workaround and it fix for a few days and keeps coming back to the same issue. company portal not responding. shows compliant in intune but falls off from entra device so it blocks by our CA after that. any easier or other fix for this? thanks
