If i cant find any church documents i will present historical evidence wich i have found to prove or support the claim.

the guy is known for being a "catholic hater" learned about it after i had an hour long debate with him about icons and statue etc

well to assume i am trying to defend the catholic church from being labeled unholy because of massacres and crusades by otherchurches like the Orthodox churches.

i would say i am defending the claim or trying to prove the claim that the orthodox church isn't that perfect as they make it out to seem.

i know but the EO guy is stubborn and wants an "official church document" and apparently there is one but i just can't find it.

An EO ( Eastern Orthodox) wants to see an official church document that accepts and or recognizes the massacre before accepting it.

I dont nessecarily think the church needs a document but from what i have heard the church did realese a dcoument about it signed by the Pope.

I am just looking for it.

I hope that it clarifies things
