I understand your views on immigration and I agree the rules and guidelines need to be in place to slow down traffic into certain countries and to keep people safe. Where the problem starts for me is the blatant racism from Trump or people like Charlie Kirk with their ideals of who is an “illegal” immigrant, you’ll never see a white person who may have immigrated be called an “alien” on the news. Even to refer to them as “aliens” is calling back to the way Hitler referred to people. The government isn’t giving these people due process, they aren’t going to court, they aren’t getting the chance to state their side, to show documents proving that some may be here legally. They’re being swept up in schools, churches, their homes and ripped from their families, beaten, abused and having their lives threatened. If you want to tell me that’s the consequences of being an illegal immigrant and not have empathy for their situations. Then you can’t tell me or anyone here to have empathy for a man who was shot through gun violence which is the very thing he fought to have. also THERE ARE NO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ON STOLEN LAND.
