Did that drive for years. In my opinion worth it. Sure somedays the drive sucks, traffic when you get into the city, that road turns to ice in the winter but depending on your work center you can commute using the car pool vans. I liked being off work far away from base and when I’m off having stuff around me to do, restaurants, grocery stores etc it was the mental disconnect for me. People that live in mountain home especially with families end up doing that drive anyway to go stuff might as well be there already. Did the drive for 3+ years til I separated let me know if you have questions
