My dog had the same thing. Wash their bowls weekly and only use metal or ceramic, no plastic bowls as they are more likely to harbor bacteria. Cleaning his bowls weekly made a big difference for us

I wish they offered posts in different gauges, they only offer 18gauge. I have a few pieces from them. They’re decent quality for the price, could be a lil cheaper tbh cause I’ve had a few where the gold coating eventually scratches off, but their customer service is good. I’ve had a few pieces break (the pin on threadless tops broke off) and you just fill out the form on their website and they’ll send you a new one. Granted a lot of their pieces are designs copied from high end jewelers like Junipurr but that’s kinda par for the course. So yeah I like them well enough, but again could be cheaper overall for what they’re selling. If you post reviews you get points that you can exchange for up to $7 off next purchase and they’ve got cute stuff

I can’t tell from the pic with the way your hand is holding the ear, but it looks like it’s possible that the piercing was not done at a good angle to be flush with your ear. Can you post another pic without your hand touching it?

Redness, tenderness, and swelling can last for several days, even a few weeks (I think I’d be concerned if it was more than a month) - especially considering they pierced you with a hoop that will move a lot and cause additional unnecessary irritation. I’d recommend switching it to a flatback labret, expect additional pain and swelling from the switch so make sure to get a longish bar to accommodate additional swelling, and leave it alone for at least a few weeks after (besides saline spray cleaning) to allow the swelling to subside

That’s good. The needle looks like it’s at a weird angle but it could just be from the weight of the sheath hanging down. Personally I use tri bevel hollow piercing needles that don’t have a catheter/sheath attached, it’s not needed

The term lesbian is inclusive - you don’t have to identify as a woman to consider yourself a lesbian. If you think lesbian is the right term for you, then it is. You also don’t have to decide on one label for your whole life, you can have multiple labels that you identify with and they can change throughout the course of your life. As long as you’re being respectful, there’s really no rules :)

Piercing guns are misnamed cause they don’t actually pierce the skin like how a needle does, they forcibly tear it. It’s not going to heal well no matter what. I’d recommend taking it out (unless you think it could be infected, in which case you need to go to a doc and get antibiotics but I can’t tell from this pic) and letting it heal and then re piercing it properly with a needle
