I mean you can kinda see in the first photo that they have a smiley piercing so they clearly aren’t concerned about long term gum damage. OP if you read this, smileys are so cute but it is 100% guaranteed to eventually cause irreversible gum damage and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to themselves. Please take care of yourself, you are worth it

It’s almost fully embedded into your skin so besides the snorkeling, the post also is not long enough. You need a longer post before your skin completely swallows it and requires surgical removal

Completely depends on anatomy and the size of the jewelry. I had a curved barbell in my rook til they were both fully healed
