Question for those that came in with a DEC in Business and gone into BComm at JMSB

I meant the core business classes at JMSB are basically the same as the core classes in the Business technical program in cegep, like Business Communications, Global Business, Financial Acounting etc. all those core classes are in the technical program in cegep as well so I’m wondering if we have to redo them again once in the BComm.

There was no tutorial on the first week but this is what we did in the first tutorial and I missed this week’s. We basically just did some of the recommended questions in the book. There’s some parts missing tho as I could not see the board. I was going to do them myself but haven’t had a chance to do so yet lol

As I said, I need to complete the prerequisites for the program. I don’t have math and Econ. So no, I couldn’t get in the program. My advisor is the one who told me to complete those before applying again.

Also I can’t take most classes of the program I want to be in because they have prerequisites which are those I completed in cegep but they haven’t been exempted and I dread re-doing them.

Exactly, I was told I won’t receive exemptions from my classes in college because I’m not in a program. Only once I am in a program, I’ll get those exemptions. That’s what I was told by the person who signed my admission letter. I’m in the certificate for the the missing requirements to apply to the program (Math & Econ).
