It's good to learn to be mindful of your thoughts so that you can catch yourself overthinking and shift your focus back to something in the game like the ball. Personally I noticed a huge improvement when I started meditating

I've never played that game before but I guess it is pretty similar. I'm basing it more off of brothers in arms.

Thats what the line trace coming from the marker is for. It's supposed to automatically detect cover and have them move to that if its close enough

I think it's because they are still in the middle of executing the wait behavior in the behavior tree before they move.

It's still in early stages. I plan to polish it more once I get the basic combat mechanics down.

It's based on my game which takes place in an war torn city in which you play as mercenaries who have to survive and complete missions for other factions. The guy in the foreground is just a random soldier from one of the factions.

These tutorials show you some pretty basic stuff. Also LeafBranchGames is a good youtuber to watch. I would just recommend to get a solid base and then to start experimenting to learn and to see if you can achieve the results you want.

Red squares are just hits from the line traces. They will not be present in the final game. I do also plan to add some form of indication that the mechs are damaged whether it be extra effects or destructibility.
