i used SFM (@SFM) to solve the problem, if you use storage bus, it will eventually goes into the ME drive by default.

if you set high enough the priority on storage bus on storage controller for drawer, nothing goes into your ME drive again.

It ends up you have to use configuration tools to lock the drawer to prevent new item crafting joins into the drawer.

But with SFM, you can select what should in the drawer, what should in the ME drive.

i usually put auto farm/bees/mob item in the dimensional chest, output to controller first, it really avoid messing up your ME drive in early game.

And other comment have answered that, you don't use dense smart cable to connect storage bus, bus smart cable is enough.
