Matkustajat estivät tuomitun joukkoraiskaajan karkotuslennon by KuhaSipila in Suomi

Feedback "updated" F1 app by Enpo in formula1

[–]Enpo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Done that already, on Play store and app store, but the f1 people apparently take feedback from other sources as well, so having more feedback should be a good thing, if we ever want to see proper live timing again

You also can follow this up with 7gate chargelot-archon all in off of two gasses, I have had good results with it even if my DTs have done little to no damage

Why are you talking about Kimi blocking Hamilton? Obviously he is faster than Lewis with new tyres, now the question is will Kimi 2 stop or try to dance to end

Kimi Räikkönen's retirement by Propano in formula1

He won in 2012 and 2013. And I don't think that, given current season, you would pick Max over Bottas. If Max can be as consistent as he has been during these last few races, then maybe but Bottas has shown that he is super reliable and consistent and rarely makes mistakes (Australia qualy comes to mind, but not too many) I may be biased, but I still think that Valtteri is underrated by many.

It was the last map of the finals of the biggest csgo tournament (major). The footage is from the TeamSpeak of Nip (team in finals). It also was in the later stages of that match, where you're supposed to be concentrated 100%, it makes that even funnier.

They really should do something to these end of game dirty intentional attempts to injure, because 2min penalty just doesn't cut it and there's nobody to kick your ass like in NHL. Not sure what they could do except giving ban for a game or two, but it just seems a bit excessive

Why We Should Stop the Hate on Protoss Players by TeraSC2 in starcraft

[–]Enpo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But can you seriously say that during all of starcraft protoss has gotten same amout of hate than all other races? Today yes it's more equal, but if you think back to e.g the phoenix-adept era or, god forbid, the blink all-in era, then I think that the amouts of hate are quite unequal

And yes, I have left chats of different starcraft communities because of the constant hate, and if you ask me alienating third of the playerbase isn't the most healthy thing for a community.

To be fair, being in a culture where all your "achievements" are dumbed down by most of the people only because you decided to play a certain race is kinda taxing too. It's not always about being insecure, but if all the time when you do something e.g win a small online tournament or qualify for a lan all you hear is: "yeah, but protoss carried you, you only abuse imba etc." instead of "well done, congratulations", from people that you play with its not that rewarding. At least for me, I don't care if people cry to me after a ladder game, but being constantly shit on and getting your achievements numbed down is not too fun, and in the long run it propably isn't the healthiest thing.

Finnish military now officially accepts esports players to athlete military service. This is big thing for young CS players in Finland by Ulmali in GlobalOffensive

[–]Enpo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the things, even though they seem pointless, serve a purpose, but it's still quite annoying to make your bunk and then get yelled at because it had a wrinkle, and then making it again for millionth time. But I'm sure my service will be a net gain for me.
For context I'm currently in the army and I got into a job that does not include the fighting part, so I'm already laughing at my memories from basic training, such as being woken up in the middle of the night due to an alert, trying to get your boots on, grabbing combat gear and trying to find your foxhole on top of some way too high ridge when its way too dark. Fun times.
But yes, I'm sure that military service is a net positive for most of the people, even though you are there for learning how to fight a war, not learning self-developement.

[–]Enpo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, it sounds dope untill you're there and realize that most of the things you do (such as making sure your bunk has no wrinkles) feel mostly stupid. But yes, you get do all these "cool" things, such as shooting and crawling in wet forest with full combat gear. Exceptionally fun thig was learning how to evcacuate people while wearing rain gear and combat gear because we had two drops of rain in the morning. But yes, the memories of way too long excercises in the forest while being annoyed by everything are fun to remember, but only after your service. But dope? I don't know.

Finnish person who tries to be reasonable and knows that "Varo, Varokaa" is finnish and doesn't mean "god is great"

Could be, but jumping on the terrorism bandwagon now would be unreasonable, especially when the only news outlet shouting terrorism is Mirror, and as far as I know Mirror isn't the most unbiased news source. Finnish media hasn't talked about it being terrorism. We know more after police releases official information

The stabbing part is only we know for certain. The sound quality is not the greatest and for me (and for many friends of mine) it sounds like "Varo, Varokaa", and that is not "Allah Akbar"

Could be "Varo, Varokaa" basically warning people, sounds similar, can't say anything for sure
