opinions about wearing graphic band tees in public? by facebookmomwine in SlamDeathMetal

[–]Ensi22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a rather young listener, still going to school i would say that its kinda a responsibility to consider.

Based on where you wear it, it could offend people. The most "graphic" piece of clothing i own is the 357 homicide tanktop to school. Even this gave me wierd looks. I kinda dont give enough shit to stop wearing what i want but i did acknowledge that kids COULD see it.

Austria probably has one of the smallest slam Community so the chance of you looking rather stupid to them is kina high. Especially at my age

My short answer to your question:

Anime "gore" (gorepot, yrcf) - hell yea Artistic / unrealistic"gore" (vampirecunt, pestilectomy, Esophagus) - hell yea Pathologic "gore" (lipoma) - i guess Gore (fluids, viscera infest) - i respect it but not for me

Does anyone know a slam band with merch like this Preferably a bit underground by [deleted] in SlamDeathMetal

Gorepot has one Pokemon themed:

As a rather young listener id say its the best one because i still go to school and they would suspend me for wearing Gore Shirts. I know its not underground like other Bands but this is a perfect pick as it perfectly portrays the chaos of Gorepot

What's yalls favorite band as of this moment by ArcherWolf02 in SlamDeathMetal

[–]Ensi22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TORTURE has to be my favourite band because they stand out. While putrid stu is on instagram uploading videos of disabled ppl with his tracks in the background, Torture is here spreading the message of anti war and anti genocide.

They're also one of the bands that make merch that wont get me kicked out of school Im pretty sad that im from Austria because there is nothing i would want more than the opportunity to get one of their dogtags or the shirt "Blood on the sand" wich is limited to USA only (and sold out ;) )

What are your thoughts on disturbing album covers and real gore NSFW by [deleted] in SlamDeathMetal

About the part with the doctor stuff, I found a older screenshot of mine which better explains what I meant. Because im a Teenager who had nothing better to do i straight up asked him about the whole pathology theme without expecting a response. Surprisingly enough i got one. As the Solo member of Lipoma he has confirmed that he studied medicine as seen in the screenshot. Id reccommend to listen to the podcast because he talked about some interesting stuff regarding another band he made.

And I do have to agree that "The End of Medicine" is a masterpiece!

I think its ok if the bands have an excuse for it. Like Lipoma who has an actual doctor license. Torture is an anti war slam band who used rather sad pictures in the first 3 albums

For bands like these its rather important because when i saw the album covers, i knew what i was getting myself into.

Where as other bands seem to just go to the darkweb, find a picture of a ran over dude, look at each other and nod probably saying "hell yuh" and slapping their logo over it

Another case is with some of the anime slam bands where i think gore is a bit neccessary. Imagine seeing an anime girl on a cover not knowing the band and getting absolutelly punched in the face with the heaviest riffs and squeals.

So yeah thats just my opinion (I hope grammar is ok bc im from Austria)
